First off, you have potential. For next time;

Make the gun a tad larger. I mean, it is a sniper. It also seemed a bit off of proportion with the grip and such, so that could use some improving.

As for the scope, it looks great. I'd like to see some ironsights in the future :)

For a first try, I'd say you've pretty damn good. You've got a talent there so use it. I would like to see you do more guns, maybe try making other in-game items too.

I was actually thinking of making a scope pack for people to use with there mod packs before I actually made this gun, I didn't think people would like the scope as much which is why I didn't add any download links at the start (I was expecting more criticism on how to make it better)
but seeing as people like this I might make a scope pack.

Since no one else has criticized you, I'll do the honors.
The scope: Great job. You've already demonstrated that you know how to use transparency, thin lines, and accuracy.
The gun: Not as good. Let's start with some of the better things. First off, you scope looks slightly off, just a bit too long and a bit too discolored. Also, the main body of the gun completely covers the barrel, and snipers usually don't have small barrels. Finally, the worst aspect is your stock. While its clear that you tried very hard with it, the stock is just too unorganized, and a lot of the blocks don't really add to the design. Still, you show talent, not like some of the modders here.

EDIT: Couple more things. The bipod is just plain horrible, it would be better if you just left it out. Also, the trigger is usually close to the magazine, not attached to the stock. But then, where's the magazine?!
