Something people need to understand is that hosting a server and it being listed are two separate things. The "master" server is independently owned and is operated independently as well.

I was the first company to provide free public servers back when there was an extreme shortage of servers per players.
Also they were created for players around the world to compare the gameplay at different locations (they should ping the lowest in their location).
They stay full almost 24/7 so there is obviously some desire for them, and I make no money off of them.
So far everyone who has purchased their own server through JestServers has been extremely satisfied with the performance and support.
Not to make this a "lets rag on JestServers" thread, but this is my own opinion:
From my experience, JestServers are fairly nice in terms of speed/latency. My only concern with them is the lack of in-game administration. I understand the servers serve more as a showcase for potential customers. I personally have no problem with that (at least you aren't limiting each server to 6 players like nitrado). I receive complaints daily about cheaters on JestServers and there is nothing that I can do about it. In fact, the other week I joined a game after receiving a complaint and found that there was an aimbotter who couldn't be kicked due to them having administrative privileges. Still haven't figured that one out.
