Well the only person whose name starts with an "E" who can ban is Exor.

He's a Guard, by the way, not a full admin.

It really would be helpful if you could at least tell us a date when this happened.

Thus I was unaware of the IRC ban. As said, the different hostmask is because I have divorced parents and therefore two IP addresses.

The issue with Exor wasn't the issue I wanted to discuss but if need be, I will. The conversation, at most, began with a harshly worded question about kicking people for being AFK. IIRC, it was something along the lines of "So do you kick people if they've gone to get a glass of water or..?" Exor then speaks about how Goon Haven and himself operate and policies on various matters, one of note was "Disrespect to admins." I thought Goon Haven was more of a "democratic" server where free speech and formulating opinions on the way things are run was allowed and possibly encouraged, if only to create a less fascist environment. Until now, I've thought the Goon Haven servers were excellent benchmarks for newer servers to aspire. I'd like a list of ocassions where I've abused your admins directly, however unlikely you are to oblige. It's okay Thal, no need to cry because someone dislikes the way a very specific aspect of the server is run, I'm done with you guys too. Bye Dezz & the other decent members of the GH crew.

This is why you're full of it:

  1. First off, even the kids in the server could tell you were being abusive. There were at least one or two people (besides Exor) telling you to stop because you were being "abusive." Most of the time, kids act really stupid on Goon Haven, but even kids can tell when someone is out to do wrong to someone else.
  2. Secondly, why, out of all people, did you pick Exor (or a guard in general) to answer policy questions? Even Korakoff can tell you that I, along with a few other admins, idle in IRC 24/7 and are always available for questions even if we don't respond quickly. Those sorts of questions should be directed towards me. If you have criticism, what's Exor going to be able to do about it? What would be the benefit of asking him those sorts of questions? You don't see folks of other servers who regularly have questions about how Goon Haven handles certain things, such as Enari and izzy, asking Exor how to catch aimbots better or how we secure our server or why we have certain policies in effect. They always ask me or Talent or Thalagyrt. Never anyone else. Better yet, you could've posted them on our forums so that some of our regulars could've commented and brought up their own concerns.

Anyways, if you're willing to apologize, we'll consider letting you back on. Until then, don't expect to be unbanned any time soon. If you're going to be a troublemaker, you'd better expect to be banned and treated like one.

EDIT: And yes, we are democratic (at least, we try to be). But your say in our community is a privilege, not a right. Gonna be abusive? You won't have any say at all.

Did I not begin my first post by saying I wasn't planning to push the issue of the altercation with Exor further, only with a query about why I was banned from IRC for ban evasion (bearing in mind that when I was first kicked I did not see "kickban", only "kick", and then later found out from Thal's post above that this was indeed a kickban.) No ban evasion was intended and if I had known a ban was in place for my other IP address I would not have attempted to reach the GH IRC a second time. There's that issue dealt with. Banned from your IRC, not too much I can do about it, not too much I want to.
Exor was asked because he was the most obviously available source at the time, and the one committing the actions that I had queries about. I admit it was an oversight to ask a lower-end (Is guard sort of like a pseudo-admin? I don't know) admin about GH policy, rather than someone like Booyo or yourself.
I apologize that Exor, Thal and the GH community took mine and possibly Korakoff_'s comments the wrong way, there wasn't an intention for an argument to develop, not for me anyway.

Although as stated earlier, I'm done with Goon Haven and unbanning me would be a moot point.

There it is. Banned, done, and dusted.
