Yesterday (My time) there was something of an altercation between Exor, Korakoff, and I. It started with polite questions (which could've been interpreted at criticism, but if it was, constructive criticism nonetheless) about the way Exor and Goon Haven operate as admins. This soon fell into something more harsh but not entirely uncivilised, from what I recall. This is beside the point. As far as I know I received a 1-day ban from Goon Haven, which didn't really bother me, I wasn't and am not planning on playing Ace of Spades today. I joined the GH IRC where Thalagyrt seemed pretty mad (much cussing), spoke to me and then kicked me from the channel. I did not push the issue further and do not plan to.

Last night I found out the Goon Haven IRC address and thought I'd add it to my places I'd idle. This morning I hopped on, stayed for about 5 mins and am then banned by Thalagyrt for "ban evasion". Am I likely to "ban-evade" with the name "Kodiak"? This has probably translated to a longer server ban and maybe a GBL. (I'm unsure of GH's policy on "ban evasion", which it was not.)

I fail to see how I'm evading a in-server ban for being on the IRC. I can understand where this might come from, because I had a different IP address to the one I had yesterday, due to the fact that my parents are divorced and I switch between their houses, and therefore IP addresses, often.

I enjoy playing on Goon Haven and I enjoy the company of people who run, administrate and play on the servers (with the obvious exception). It would be a shame to be disallowed contact with generally cool people such as these.

I will post this here as well. You were already banned from our IRC channel shortly after you and Korakoff started your little spat of stupidity. Since you joined up up again today from a different hostmask after failing to read the little bit that says "You have been kicked from #gh-aos" and "Cannot join channel #gh-aos: you are banned." last night, can you say you're surprised that you were re-banned, since you were already banned about 18 hours prior?

We're done dealing with you. This is something like your 5th or 6th time abusing our staff that I have personally seen. You guys seem to have this expectation that you can be abusive without repercussion and are completely taken aback when we don't put up with your crap. I have better things to do than let a couple of punks abuse people who volunteer their time to help maintain a good environment in our servers. If you or Korakoff are ever involved in that kind of crap again, you will be permbanned from our servers. Got it?

I did not re-join because I haven't set any channel to auto-join via KVIrc and did not try manually because your anger was clearly obvious, the only thing seen was a kick message. Thus I was unaware of the IRC ban. As said, the different hostmask is because I have divorced parents and therefore two IP addresses.

The issue with Exor wasn't the issue I wanted to discuss but if need be, I will. The conversation, at most, began with a harshly worded question about kicking people for being AFK. IIRC, it was something along the lines of "So do you kick people if they've gone to get a glass of water or..?" Exor then speaks about how Goon Haven and himself operate and policies on various matters, one of note was "Disrespect to admins." I thought Goon Haven was more of a "democratic" server where free speech and formulating opinions on the way things are run was allowed and possibly encouraged, if only to create a less fascist environment. Until now, I've thought the Goon Haven servers were excellent benchmarks for newer servers to aspire. I'd like a list of ocassions where I've abused your admins directly, however unlikely you are to oblige. It's okay Thal, no need to cry because someone dislikes the way a very specific aspect of the server is run, I'm done with you guys too. Bye Dezz & the other decent members of the GH crew.

There is a difference between harassment and asking a question, and you should really learn it. We fully appreciate constructive feedback. What you were doing was not constructive.

So the Deuce was talking right? Not really fighting much, just building.
One of the admins told him that he isn't entertaining them, or something like that, and that he's getting tired of him. Something along those lines.
And Deuce keeps talking, and the admin tells him that he isn't fighting enough and that he's not being entertained and so he was banned.
