At Which Point Would You Buy AoS?

For all things AoS!

Client, auto-updater, OpenGL, more weapons, generally more content. If it's done right this game will be easily worth $10-$20.

I couldn't care less about the new content, until your average deuce can coherently form two sentences without screaming "HACKER" I'm not interested.

I will buy it if it has AK-47, nukes, singeplayer, and killstreaks in it. Seriously, the content in this game is really low. THAT WHY WE NEED AK-47.

fix all the really gameplay-impacting bugs:
blocks that don't break no matter how many time you hit them, unless you use a grenade or the alt-spade action
bullets that hit but do no damage - happens very often to me
bullets that shoot thru blocks (but without breaking the blocks)

fix the lag problems. I rubberband around even with 35 ms!

fully customizable key/mouse button binding

larger display resolution support- current limit of 1280x960 on my computer can give me a headache in windowed mode. in full screen the headache comes faster (and I get nauseated). if I can go full screen at native resolution (2560x1440) that would be really nice. The current display resolution limits are too small.

add a few more guns, maybe operable vehicles or something.

then there's the price: not too high, like $20 is about right. Spending more than that on a game is really outside of my budget. I'm missing out on alot of great games due to that (BF3, Fallout, GTA, etc) sometimes I'd get them thru torrents.

also if you don't mind, make a physical copy of the game available, I'm really not comfortable with digital software purchases, I avoid it becasue I spend money on intangible objects, if the digital object is lost obtaining another one may prove impossible if my computer died and the data became corrupted. (or my email got hacked and everything was deleted). they'd be no way to prove that I bought the software! with a physical copy whatever happens on my computer stays on my computer it will not jump from the computer to a CD lying on a shelf 6 feet away.

Well i dont see a problem there. You can just burn the game on a CD.

Life sucks! I'm 14 year old, and I can't buy AoS if it would be payed :( But I LOVE this game. If it wouldn't be free, my heart would break...

I love this game very much! I probably would buy it, there just needs to be more content and features added and such.

No leveling system, no attachments, no unnecessary weapons (read the UNNECESSARY, if it fits it's own role and is useful, then I'm all good with it).
It just creates elitism to this game.

At any point it becomes a retail game, as long as it's a one time purchase and not a "free to play" model.
