Don't you think there's a reason grammar and spelling are enforced in schools? The whole idea is that people speak/write using identical words so that everyone will understand each other perfectly. And because some people just choose not to make an effort, in time they completely forget the proper words and rely on spell check like a cocaine addict or something. Eventually when they have to do an official piece of writing and have no access to it, r.i.p.
It also briefly shows your intelligence level. A st00pid lazy guy will easily be spotted amongst more intelligent people simply by his language. So wouldn't it be better if you showed people that you're not a st00pid lazy guy?

I never said I wasn't the one who didn't use grammar and spelling its just people care to much about other people. Most people don't spell right over the internet simply because it supposedly saves time and it easier then typing out. I for one don't use slang over the internet apart from obvious ones like lol and what not but I just don't see why people care so much about how people spell over the internet.

You do realise that you just made a complete useless post? If you were trying to correct me, nice fail.

...and kmaj just feels like at home, as what it seems to me. I seriously came here just to see kmaj's posts, they amuse me in a some odd way.

But kmaj... using grammar correction as an offensive tactic at an argument is quite much off-topic and doesn't do anything for the point itself, so it can be rendered useless and pointless in the end. You need to focus on the argument's problem itself, not on the personal issues of the opposing person. Even though the topic is about the same thing by itself, there's no any overall gain or profit on grammatical corrections in between arguments.
Just thought I'd give my five cents about that.

kmaj wrote:Sadly, grammar, spelling, and syntax are less and less respected on the internet every day.

But I can agree with this. I don't like people using bad grammar, but it's their problem. I am no majority to tell them they have a problem at writing things correctly, so I'll leave it just be.
People with a very bad grammar can make an exeption though, even though I know they'd never listen to me.

Putin wrote:The grammar is a good thing to write a book but not for a forum.

Why not for a forum? As what I've seen, people tend to be more mature at forums, even though its subject's majority of the community isn't. It'd be quite much appreciated to train good grammar while you're at it, since everyone likes good grammar and you won't get any extra notes about it. It automatically makes you look more intellegent and mature aswell, as funny it is. It also adapts you into the minority we most of us sweetly appreciate for a some good reason, if you know what I mean.

As what I want to say by myself is that using a good grammar makes you look good amongst the people. People can take you more seriously, and your message can be brought in with less effort, with better results. It indeed does serve a good purpose while in use, as it's nothing but rendering you appeal better than just okay.

And yes... Forum's suggestions feed looks horrible in the grammatical aspect. If people would think and plan a bit before writing just an another "Omgf DIS Coudla be teh b3Zt IDEA EVERRR!!!!" thread telling about killstreaks and whatnot, others could ponder about the suggestions a bit more, with more positive feedback and all. I've seen this happen on some couple original suggestions, so I can say it's working rather well in the end.

People are just too lazy nowadays, and that's the main problem here if we think about it a bit.

Why is it so hard for people to understand that there is a SPACE after marks of punctuation?!

Yes, and spaces, apostrophes, correct punctuation, and correct spelling in most sentences. Other than that, you speak perfect english :P.
