my mom would go all the way to reinstall my entire computer if i didn't give her the new password. but she usually forgets anyways :p

Simply get permission? If you have to get permission to do things, chances are it is so you aren't installing things others don't want you installing.

not the administrator password that is locked on my computer. my mom sometimes locks my user for "mom reasons"

hahaha true true.

anyways back on topic. i do like this idea. saves me all the trouble from downloading the installer file and all that jazz. it would be even better if you can still install from the .msi file, get the .msi file, and keep backups of previous versions of AoS.

For all you who need admin rights to install AoS try doing this (not 100% sure it will work or not):
0.) Log on your own account
1.) Go to control panel
2.) Click 'User accounts'
3.) Click on your account
4.) Click on 'Change account type'
5.) Select Computer Administrator
6.) Click ok
7.) Install AoS
8.) Do steps 1-4 again but select Limited.

I gotta say, if my dad was a techhead (He lives in the dinosaur age, thankfully) he would probably make himself the administrator too. I'm thankfull. :)

I like the idea, especially cos I have a folder with all my mods in it (Hundreds of Megs).
