Our Latin teacher frequently smokes and leaves the room to "copy some papers" for 10 minutes while he's actually smoking a cigarette. When we ask a question he comes to our table, and he really stinks out of his mouth.
But our English teacher tends to SICK BURN a classmate of mine alot who is kinda noisy. Which is why she is cool.

When I was at my Uni I had to take a guy for research methods who made life a living hell. The amount of paper for the project itself was close to 6 inches thick... 20 pages, APA format, something due every class, perfect citation on every page... every time I handed in a piece of the project, it came back covered in red ink... It once came an ice storm, we still had to show up, even though some people had to make 10+ mile drives... And no one could tell him shit because he's got a Ph.D, heads research in Juvenile Justice and happens to be the Graduate Advisor. But I aced that fkin class goddammit!!!! Enjoy High School guys lol

Protip 1: When you enter college, beware the Ph.D's... 90% of the time, it means attitude problem, which can mean problems for you. (I did have a Dr. who taught Criminology Statistics who would get tipsy with students before class, then show up and tear up the subject. Learned to gamble there. Great exception, great class :D )

Protip 2: Show up. You can get by by paying little attention, but some instructors will crucify you for failure to attend.
Protip 3: Boost your GPA as high as possible your Freshman/Sophmore years... After that, it's a new game.
Protip 4: Trust no one.
Protip 5: Enjoy it. Don't make an ass of yourself, but have fun. College>Everything else, no lie.

Unlike most of you people here, I am more disappointed at how I have (or had) 1 or 2 teachers that basically don't do anything that normal teachers should - teach. They (those 1 or 2) just read the textbook, tell us to do some exercises (yes, from the textbook) and tell us at home to read the textbook. As if the textbook is like a Holy Bible that will get us an A+ at everything we do... I mean jeez, I also can take out my book, read to the class like it's a goodnight bedtime story and get 5000 euros per month. The sad thing is that these teachers are sometimes what determines your future course in university, and/or career. (i.e. bad teacher -> suck in class -> don't pursue career in that subject).
Fortunately, other than those few, our school has some pretty decent teachers, some with PhDs, that actually explain to you the material better than any book can.
And now since I'm close to graduating from high school I'm hoping that my future university 'teachers' won't be screwed up like those I described in the beginning.

As of late, I've liked all my teachers. Either they're better than any of my previous teachers, or I've matured enough to understand why teachers do or say certain things.

Back in middle school, though, I had plenty of teachers I didnt like. The occasional racist, the ones who would write you up for the dumbest shit, etc. One in particular stands out, though.

I've always been a huge geek, so I took a special "Tech Ed" class at my middle school. Each grade level who took the class did different things (split into sections called "modules"), so I took it both my 7th and 8th grade year. I didnt have a problem with the instructor the first time i took the class, but my 8th grade year was a different story.

There was one module I did which required me to draw blueprints on gridlined paper. The computer program which was supposed to guide me through the lessons for the module glitched and skipped the part which told me how to draw a blueprint, and as an 8th grader, I had obviously never drawn a blueprint in my life, so I winged it. It looked alright, but was nothing like what i was expected to draw....so the instructor, upon seeing my shitty blueprint, started reaming me with insults, saying i was incompetent to the 6th graders who had taken the same module (and 6th graders who took tech ed didnt actually do modules, just book work...) and made me switch to another module.

On another occasion, a friend of mine was doing the flight module, where you use a yoke to fly a virtual airplane around and record flight data. His first day on the module, he crashed the plane (like everyone else does, of course) but for some reason the teacher felt the need to verbally assault him until he began crying.

My mom emailed him about his poor teaching and disciplinary skills, and he decided to turn that around on me. The day after my mom sent the email, I was in the animation module, where we were working on stop-motion animation. I was done with all my work for the day, so i made a quick little animation of a finger person walking across the table. He saw this, and started yelling at me about how i wasnt on task (keep in mind, i was already done with the day's assignments) and brought up the email, saying that my mother was concerned with my behaviour in the class. I watched my mom send the email, and it was clearly about HIS behaviour toward the class. He proceeded to kick me out of the lab and force me to do book work until the next module.

Almost every day in this class, people are up and around, playing and wandering from their modules. But one day, when everyone was being surprisingly behaved, one person lightly scratched a drawer with a pencil (so lightly you couldnt even see it) and our teacher kicked everyone out of the lab for the rest of class, forcing us to to endless worksheets of irrelevant book work, saying that we were "out of hand, horseplaying, and vandalizing." When i received my 6th worksheet from him, I flipped my shit, basically told him i wasnt doing it, and he told me to go to the "buddy room" (if your school used the BIST discipline system, you'd know what that is. Its basically like a mini detention in a different classroom) so as i walked out the door I told him "At least i wont be in here with your ass!" This sent him over the edge (in a sort of entertaining way) as my friends reported to me at lunch. (LOL)

The one thing that really pissed me off about him, though, was the time that he literally tried to ruin the rest of my life. I was sitting in the classroom discussing how a school rule had a loophole in it. The rule said that you werent allowed to assist someone into the building after hours, but it didnt say anything about letting yourself in. He overheard this, and somehow convoluted what i was saying into some kind of gun threat. After the class was over, he gathered 3 random students from the class and had them write false witness reports (i saw him doing this) and sent the reports to the office. I was later called to the office, and the witness reports were brought up. After reading the teacher's report, then the students' reports, it was obvious that all the reports were using the same, made up information. Although the VP of the school believed me that I wasnt planning to bring a gun to school, the reports had already been filed, and they had no choice but to suspend me for the remainder of the school year, causing me to miss my 8th grade graduation and party. If it wasnt for the principal at my high school removing the false gun threat from my permanent record, I would have no hope of ever getting a job or going to college. Having that on your record is no joke. He was legitimately trying to duck my whole life up, for no apparent reason except that i gave him shit one time which he deserved.

When i graduate, Im going back to that school with my diploma and giving him a piece of my mind.

Wow that is one evil bastard, you better show him! Me i've been in many schools so i've had a share of bad teachers, my first bad teacher was in kindergarten; she had favourites and was like 70 years old, which is definetly not good for a kindergarten class. Because of this I was often punished when her favourite misbehaved... Luckily she's finally retired now :) .

Second 'bad' teacher was in year 4, this guy was bipolar ; one moment he was was very jokey and a really good teacher, the next moment he started raging at people for the smallest of reasons(I saw many kids cry because of this...), nonetheless he was very funny at times so i'd call him a half/half . But damn that man could rage at year 4's like we shot someone!

Third bad teacher was in year 9, this guy was the p.e. teacher( the year before an amazing p.e. teacher left to go to another school fo the same company because he's so awesome...) , anyway he's the most horrible teacher i know. Very impatient, easily angered, doing everything by the book, and not ever showing a hint of a smile. We also had a kid with with learning problems in our class and he often pulled the work out of his hands because 'he wasn't doing it fast enough'... way to go mista teacher. One of the students in the school once saw him in a bar and very drunk, which tells a lot about how he takes care of himself.

This year I can't say since all the teaching is done from behind a screen :P .

Well, I have this crazy teacher, I dont really hate him, but he is really crazy. He seems to have some kind of obsession with Mayo and Picanha.
And there was a time when the class was really messy, everyone talking and messing around. The other day, he turned off the lights and started burning incense to "ward off demons" .

That's pretty ok, compared to my chemistry teacher. He goes around the class stepping on people's shoes and hitting them with any object he can find (not because he's angry, it's just for laughs), talks about cakes made of faeces EVERY lesson... and trolls the whole class all the time. Plus makes up fake names for us and calls us them, then when we tell them our 'real' name, he freaks out and asks 'when did you change your name???'.
So yea, but fortunately he falls into the 'good teacher' category in my school.
Then my other chemistry teacher also sometimes beats the hell out of a few guys in my class. Nothing serious, just for the lolz :P. So I'm thinking chemistry teachers have this thing where they go insane from inhaling all the nasty gases they work with. That's just a theory though.

I love my teachers, I just hate the subjects they teach.

I especially hate the Video Production class since I have to cooperate with people.

Portuguese Teacher.

She "camouflages" the questions in exams so we are logically induced to think that we are right , but we actually aren't.

Other day me and my classmates were talking right outside the classroom waiting for her and then she came , we were walking into the classroom and she blammed the door on our faces , even tho we were right entering it.After that she didn't allow us in and their called our parents and registered occurence.

I HATE HER.

Once upon a time, I had a female Math teacher who apparently had sex with every last one of her male students ~ except me ~ and no one really ever cared. [She retired a few years ago I think.]

Wish I could say my game's improved in the twenty or so years since then, but, I'm a horrible liar.
