I always use the rifle. I will always use the rifle.

My rifle and I have traveled and fought on many different battlefields. From the once peaceful streets of St. Mathias in the country of AOS-Fort, which is no more due to the constant warring, to the islands in the land of the Komrades to the once peaceful farmlands where the Churchill Army was defeated by the nomadic Forumites. Along the way, we met some great foes (like Gorman and Wyvern) and plenty of terrible ones, who fell before me.

I will always use my rifle. And my rifle will continue to show people how terrible their SMGs and Shotguns are for, hopefully, many years to come.

No truer words have been said. I, too, swear by the Rifle.

The rifle will always have a place in my heart, since I've been playing since 0.3x (almost a year? Crikey!), and it's certainly my favourite, but I'm just as comfortable using the SMG and sometimes change it depending on my mood and skill level of the server.

once i had to use the rifle and i was a bit crap with it.
then the smg came along but it was super crap.
then the shotgun came along and it was good then it got so good it could sniper with one shot kills, laying waste to all comers.

then the smg got alot better and the shotgun go worse but he was still good.

now the smg has gone down a bit but the shotgun has drop to useless crap.
the rifle is better as you can run and gun with it now.

id like the shotgun from 62 and the smg from 70 with the new block damage and no team kill spades.

Semi ftw, but for some reason I've been missing a lot on 0.75. Resorted to spray-and-pray.

in 0.75: rifle & smg.

in 0.70 the shotgun had more power and tighter groups at long range. you can practically pick someone of 4/5 to the fog with the shotgun. it held it's ground if you walk into a smg/rifle shootout.

in 0.75 the rifle suddenly got a whole lot more accurate for me. no idea why, everyone's complaining about reduced accuracy while for me its the opposite.

I've always loved the SMG. but I do wish the next update adds more ammo- 120 rounds is hardly enough, I often end up hanging around the command post since i run out of ammo way too often. Maybe 240 or 300 rounds.

Having played since 0.1something, I never ever leave my rifle behind, except for destroying stuff. Too bad I can't snipe with it anymore since 0.75.

I can still snipe with the Rifle, I just don't expect to hit the poor sucker on my first try.

I've started to practice precise aiming in certain difficult situations with my semi.

And I've got to say... it still kicks ass against smg's.
