Too many aimbots.

For all things AoS!

The guy just said "map hacks", he didn't specify what they did. I think it was either teleporting or the drawing thing.
He did say though that the nuke grenade was a 40 x 40 cube or something. I suggested doing Spades and Nades as opposed to all the aimbotting and the guy mentioned that he had nuke grenades.

I doubt that a 40x40 grenade hack is possible.

How big is one chunk of the coordinate map? Say, A1? Probably around 40 blocks.
So like an airstrike with one grenade, I guess. I dunno, I just remember he mentioned something about it being 40 x something.

He was probably just talking out of his ass. Block breaking is handled server-side iirc, meaning something like that is basically impossible.

I think the block damage is client side, in theory you could make a grenade in your client break more blocks then it should. If thats the case, the server will get a message to demolition a mountain from one of the clients using a hack of this type. Then once the packet goes full circle it will destroy it on the other clients as well instead of rejecting it and crashing the client because there is no specific damage binded to server side objects.

Thats my guess anyways

Killers blocks are a bigger problem then hackers.

Oh, I remember when that was the case. Unfortunately, someone by the name of Hooch decided to be irresponsible and release his. According to T_G there have been ~1792 downloads from one of the two forums I've seen it on.

Earlier today PXYC suspected someone of using this hack (we generally just say "hooching" because 99.9% of the time it's that one specific public hack), so he asked the suspect to shoot a block... Best put in his own words.

Jan 20 14:33:03 <Minit2> <USABxPXYC> Shoot a blcok

Jan 20 14:33:29 <Minit2> <Petboy9> haha
Jan 20 14:33:32 <@ReubenMcHawk> .Lolol
Jan 20 14:33:32 <Minit2> <Petboy9> its like a shotgun

Needless to say he was banned shortly afterwards and at least pretended to have no idea what MPGH or UC were.

Hurry up mat^2 we need a new client version fast please thanks i love you.

Funny that I blocked five people yesterday because of aimbotting so I think aos should ban for 1 day the people who are aimbotting.Do you agree?

I do not understand how the global ban list is supposed to be effective. All you have to do is change your name and reset your router.
