What if AoS used voxels this way? [[Video]]

Game's called voxelstein. Got it a while back.

What if Ben were to utilize voxels like this in the first place? I didn't experience any sort of lag (still voxels) and the whole environment is destructible.
To a Physicist, white and black is the presence and absence of color.
To a Fine Artist, white and black are just shades and tints of color.
To a Painter, any paint that you could get into a can is a color.
THIS color, on the other hand, is #b4d455.

I thinking about this the other day too. It's basically making the blocks much smaller and having more of them. Would be cool, but would be radical change. Maybe in AoS 2.

Hmm...
Looks fun, but building would be WAY HARDER.

Would make the game great, but not this game.

Building mounds of circular dirt instead of blocks.

It'd be cool if the level's resolution was the same as the players'.... but yeah it'd def be a different sort of game.

Yeah, pretty fun, but it shouldn't take that long to punch a whole through a wall or spade the enemy.

I guess you could just increase the radius at which blocks are destroyed.

I've often thought about what AOS would be like with more voxel detail, but then I realised that it would be a completely different game.

laggy? what do you play on?
it seems my grandma's rig will run it just fine, when i gave it a try it ran almost too fast to play. my character would shoot across the room, it has alot of difficulty getting around.

Well now as I gave it another try it seems that wierd lag is created by FPS balancing between 40-30.

Lol i got 40-50 playing it
Btw AoS with that kind of graphics would be extremly laggy, as the maps needs to be huge
