A few weeks ago, there was a thread about GunCraft and one of the devs advertised the game here.

GunCraft is made by Exato Games Studios (EGS) and B-F is made by EXE Studios (a Korean game making company) and is published by Infernum Studios (a game making/publishing company).

B-F is EXE Studios'/Infernum Studios' first ever game, while Exato Game Studios has two games - GunCraft and some other RPG MMO game.

Exato Game Studios is based in Washington, USA, while EXE Studios is based in South Korea and Infernum Studios is based in Germany, Berlin.

I think you guys got confused due to the names of the companies, one is EXE Studios and the other one is EGS (which is somewhat similar to "EXE").

I hope this explains some things, unless the B-F devs actually did register on these forums and advertised their game.

How can you prove that Leechertyper is a B-F admin/dev?

Sure, he does have only 1 post and never visited the forum anymore, but that doesn't mean that he's an admin/dev.

I'll ask the B-F community manager at Twitter if he ever made an account on these forums.

You missed the point, if you recall you went out of your way to prove that everyone was confusing guncraft with bf. I found the evidence to prove you wrong.

And yes if your one and only post is about the competition that is suspicious. So is a user that creates post after post defending something that doesnt need to be defended.

Why are certain parts of the forum getting all riled up over a game?
If B-F can be considered competition then good, competitions healthy and keeps things fresh and stops a game stagnating. Although by looking at its graphics the bright coloured environments seem to appeal to a slightly younger demographic than AoS so it should attract the type of player who come to AoS, join a server and leave when they dislike what they see plus it looks to be more fast paced which ain't what Aos is about, well to me anyway.

I don't hate it (heck, I'm making a map to enter in their map-making contest), but what I don't like is them locking up any threads having to do with a game that has similarities (not like a free game HAS any competition, IMO)

You can have 136983860992835676892065 different weapons in AoS. Simply change the skin,and you are good to go.
