Agreed.

Even if I suck badly at all things FPS, now I suck even more with that...Balance.
I mean, normally I COULD kill a guy in a 1block-wide tunnel that stands a few blocks in front of me, now I can't...No matter how hard I try, I end up dying miserably.

the new update is glitched and lagged... i headshoted a guy 5 times and shoted his body 10... and i died... WTF... and then my game crashed

I've been getting such severe rubberbanding and warping since the update it's basically unplayable. I'll be running along and suddenly I'll be back 20 blocks and in a hole somewhere. It only used to happen if I was jumping up a high wall very fast before, but now It's happening just running along. I can't really play the game at all with this.

Yeah, I'm seriously getting sick of this. I've been killed so many times on the zombies server because of rubberbanding.

It's really getting annoying now since the few things that we've been asking for (such as a stop to the rubberbanding/teleporting) have been ignored for about 3 updates now, yet the things that we purposely say that we don't want (such as the "lottery rifle") get repeatedly implemented. There's got to be some sort of middle ground that we can meet regarding the community's interests and Ben's ideas.

Does 0.70 have any servers left?
It was so much more playable without huge rubberbanding and bugginess. The new features are neat and all, but Jesus Christ.

Have you checked if you have the ace of spades folder?
And have you modified anything?

Nope, It's a fresh install with no mods.
According to the last post in this thread it may be a compatibility issue with servers running a specific version of pyspades, which would explain why I don't get the crashing issue on my own vanilla server. Hopefully that's the case and a fix can be found. Untill then I'm just going to have to try to avoid pyspade servers (if I can).

Anywho, I think I've posted enough about this issue in this thread. I'll keep the rest of my thoughts posted in the correct thread in the bugs forum.

My god , the lag is unplayable , i get teleported back everytime i run 4 blocks.

I shoot someone 5 times in the head and get killed all of a sudden , this is just unacceptable.

Ben needs to fix this , top priority.

I remember when .70 came out I was okay with it because now SMG actually stood a decent chance against the rifle. I remember a lot of players agreeing on it too. Now...with the accuracy change to the rifle (I've noticed the bullet goes a bit left or right sometimes....and if you even check the tracer on the map when you shoot, it'll sway one way...) it's really hard to stand a chance against an SMG that can drill 5 shots into you before you have time to get at least one shot out. I tried sniping with the SMG for a while, it actually worked @___@. Tank said it perfectly, having to dodge and move spots every time you miss with a supposedly perfect shot to the head, isn't worth it. Not when you kill two people and then get mowed down by a person with the SMG.

Its a goodish update with nice things, but it also brings about tons of bugs, crashes, and LAG SHOOTING. Ive learned to trick around it, but whoo didy it was awful.

Pros:
everyone says the rifle got less accurate. opposite for me, now it's pinpoint accurate whereas previously it was not (0.70)
in 0.70 the rifle had a 2-block wide group at 100 block's distance.
Now it's pinpoint accurate like the way it was supposed to be in 0.70.
I like the rifle more now.

grenades do more damage

the SMG got less accurate when standing up, but as accurate as my rifle in 0.70 when crouched.
good for me too since I use ht SMG very often at long ranges. when I use the SMG standing up I really don't expect to hit anyone anyway.


Cons:
I've been getting tons of "server connect error" and repeatedly dropped from servers, often after I manged to connect after clicking the server link like 50 times (with 49 fail errors)

the guns jams far more often now. especially when I reload and happen to be resupplied at the same time.

still can't bind to mouse buttons, now with the new build function and sprint, I'm having more trouble than ever with only one hand on the keyboard. please add this feature if possible in the next update!
I'm not able to use sprint since all the keys around wasd are in use. (and I'm not coordinated enough to use sprint along with other keys at the same time)

2-3 second wait at intel or tent to register- if I just walk thru it the intel is not picked up, I kinda have to linger there for 2-3 LONG seconds which is near impossible with many maps. before in 0.70 pickup of intel was more or less instant.
same for resupply at the tent, often times it's like I didn't go to the tent at all.
