you guys just need more practice with the you have too ajust to it im use the rifle all the timme and 7 out of 10 shot hit the target so either you guys really suck or you need to ajust to the acurracy.

The rifle was never 100% accurate.

Where do you people keep coming up with that? It is simply wrong. That's the equivalent of saying that the earth is flat. It just simply is not true.

As I'm to understand the rifle had pinpoint accuracy - no bullet spread. That is what is meant by 100% accuracy. From what I'm given to understand now, a very slight spread has been added (essentially taking out the element of skill using the rifle and reducing it to a luck of the draw).

I started back in .60 and, except for a few rare times when I experimented with the other weapons for the fun of it, I always and ONLY used the rifle. And I can tell you right now that, for me, it never had pinpoint accuracy. There would be times when I most miss with every shot in a clip, even though the sights were lined up. So no, it never had pinpoint accuracy ... at least not since .60. Maybe it was different before then, I can't tell you, but not since I started playing.

Now, enough of this 100%, pinpoint accuracy crap.

Your agrument has been invalid all this time, and you have just made yourself look like a fool.

The rifle accuracy was pin-point up untill 0.52. In 0.52 ben added cone firing to the rifle, this made headshots completly luck based, in 0.55, after the community complained for ages, ben finally removed cone firing and he tweaked the rifle down a bit, so it is not pin-point anymore.
Next time "TheVirgo" actually listen to some of the members of the community, I started playing from 0.48, so I know ALL the changes. Some members have been here since 0.10 (They'd know even more than me).

Back in the 0.1 and 0.2 era shooting from the hip was pinpoint accurate

Before this update, the rifle seemed pinpoint accurate. At least, on a 4:3 monitor (for some reason my 16:9 threw off my accuracy, and shots wouldn't go the same place every shot. believe me, i tested it hard), i never had any problems getting headshots unless there were a bunch of foreign people on the server.

Now, a combination of lag and nerf has made the rifle (for me) pretty much unusable. I just installed the update today, and on numerous occasions had to shoot someone 5-6 times in the same spot on their head to kill them, even if they aren't moving.

Hell, I've shot a few feet behind people while they were running perpendicular to my bullet(s) and gotten headshots. I don't know what sort of algorithm Ben's using, but it definitely needs to be fixed.

The rifle is DEFINITELY less accurate right now, and it really can be felt. Honestly, i wish we could just heavily increase the reload time , or add a new gun that is an actual sniper rifle with a nice long reload and horrible accuracy standing,b ut perfect crouched/standing still.

All you 99.99% accuracy lovers learn something about real weapon's and ballance.
And i really cant listen to you anymore like: cry cry i cant headshot while runing or i want 100% acc back. The rifle is perfectly balanced now i can make 9/10 even 10/10 headshots on mid-long range just learn to shoot u small baby's who cant handle a game gun -_- !!!

I thought It was just me, But yeah. I'm having trouble aiming since the update. I think i'll just get used to it though.
