Bullets and Casings

Postby TheSifodias » Fri Mar 16, 2012 3:05 am

I'm just wondering, how many modders in general are going to be changing their bullet casing to fit their modded gun?

I already did so, it'd be stupid not to, given what I'm making.

Well,I guess it depends on the gun.I was feeling about making an AR9,so I guess I could mod the casings to be like a microfusion cells,or to be nothing at all,as there are no ejected bullet casings.

I'm guessing modded bullet casings would look a lot better on those shotguns with slug rounds. And those really wierd guns that shoot out lasers.

Rifle use High-caliber bullets
SMG use Low-caliber bullets (unless you skinned it with a typical AR, then it would be perfectly reasonable to replace it with the semi casing)
Shotguns use the red and gold casing.

Nothing much to change, really.
To a Physicist, white and black is the presence and absence of color.
To a Fine Artist, white and black are just shades and tints of color.
To a Painter, any paint that you could get into a can is a color.
THIS color, on the other hand, is #b4d455.

Nice job genius.

I honestly don't know much about guns, but I know that rifles use big, aerodynamic bullets.

As you could (obviously) see, the rifle rounds are bigger than smg rounds. Caliber is the DIAMETER of the bullet, btw. the first number in the two bullets designate the caliber in mm. The second number designates the length of the casing in mm. In this case, refer to the second number when trying to make the .kv6 for bullet casings.

I tweaked mine a little bit to make them look nicer, but other than using the semi's casing for the SMG too if you have it skinned as an assault rifle or something, I don't see there being much to mod.

You said damn caliber! rifles use smaller caliber than SMG but more powerful rounds
