What do you use for sniping? Scopes or Iron sights?

I usually use mikuli's sight, but recently I have been using default ironsights because of switching in between .70 and .75, and I am sometimes really good with default and sometimes I can't hit anything.

I use an acog for my semi, a red dot for my smg, and regular iron for my shotgun.

I use the scope.
the display size is already too small for my monitor (a paltry 9" across) when sniping my eyes are like a foot away from the monitor because I can't see very well due to the limited resolution/windowed game, a scope makes it slightly easier.

I have customized crosshairs-
an transparent amber chevron for general,
a translucent red diamond for SMG
a T-type light grey reticle & bright green dot for Rifle
and an amber circle for Shotgun.

these have been observed to yield the best accuracy and fastest target acquisition.
I have been thinking of going with a target dot for the rifle, since all you really need is a dot anyway.

Well, for the rifle, I have used the normal sight (who hasn't?), a simple cross-hair scope, a custom M14 sight by KillerRed9, and an ACOG.

I love the normal iron sights, they're good in general. Most of the time I'm good with them, sometimes I just can't aim, but overall quite easy to use and balanced.

The simple cross hair scope is also good, quite accurate and easy to use, although it does limit my FOV.

M14 sight? Like the one in CoD4, this one was awful. Couldn't aim at all for the back ring blocking my view.

ACOG? I'm not sure, I don't really like ACOGs with their bright chevron and all, I can't seem to aim properly with them at all when it comes to the rifle.

For the SMG, I've used the normal one, my own custom M4a1 Carbine sights, M4a1 Carbine RDS, and ACOG (well strictly speaking maybe not ACOG but one with a chevron xD)

Normal's good, always is. My custom sights I find alright, although for some reason I prefer the iron sights to RDS. ACOG one was quite alright actually for an SMG.

Shotty? Who's counting, really you don't need sights for the shotty except for the zoom factor.

I use scopes all the way, i dont no which ones im using but i no i hav commander codys shotgun sights for the rest i hav the basic cross in the middle scopes.

I used to use enari's sight but switched back to default a while ago.

Using a scope feels like cheating for me, though I have used Enari's sight.
