ldrship.org Servers

[SLoW]

Hello All,

As you may or may not know, my clan (L.D.R.S.H.I.P.) hosts a number of servers. We don't have our own thread in here, so it seemed like something we should do.

We're currently running 2 fulltime servers:

ldrship.org - Main
Main is our vanilla server. It typically runs the most current (within a few days) version of pyspades and holds 32 people. It's a "certified" server, which means that if you log in, it'll track your stats and show them on the leaderboard.

ldrship.org - Tribes
Tribes is our server that is dedicated to Tribes (the FPS). It contains maps that myself and Deucebag (also in LDR) have ported from the Tribes series. Bases are protected by default (means no building/destroying in the spawn coordinate) and it also holds 32 people.
NOW WITH JETPACKS! (type /j in game to toggle, ctrl to use)

We also occasionally host specialty servers for varied amounts of time.

We're currently hosting 1 specialty server:

ldrship.org - Gen Maps
Gen maps is running brand new pyspades code showing Triplefox's new terrain generation (found in this thread: viewtopic.php?f=79&t=1736). We generate a new, random map every 60 minutes, and the server holds 32 people.

I don't mind the jetpack script, but I'm more used to crouching with Ctrl... I'll remap my keys, though.

Well I'd prefer a more elegant solution too, because I love crouching, but it's a limitation of the client. I'd suggest making a hotkey for /j in AHK, that way you can have your jetpacking AND crouching. :D

i like AoS tribes better since it's much easier to shoot guns rather than a spinefusor
