The most meaningful song to you

Postby Defaulter » Thu Feb 23, 2012 10:42 am

There's plenty of threads about music, your fav music etc

But what is the single most moving song you have ever heard? And can you tell us why?

Mine: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BvsX03LO ... re=related

Why that song? you know....I have no clue, but every-time I listen to it the world just seems to matter so much less, no matter how busy I am, tired, stressed or etc, this song just seems to take all that away, It brings back old memories, people iv met, places iv been blahblahblah

-------------------------------------------

So what about you?

(Oh and a youtube link to the song you post would be kool :D)

Not the saddest, though it is meaningful.

We are here because the Universe offers conditions so life can evolve,to the point where(at least one)species,in a small planet around a star lost between millions of galaxies,is able to ask itself:What was my origin? (M. Gleiser)

This is a tribute to who is considered the founding father of modern country western, Hank Williams, now C&W is probably not that popular on these forums but the lyrics that Hank came up with about love and pain really hit the spot for me, they are so simple and easy to relate to for the average joe.

I really like its chorus, and it seems to motivate me to be physically better at something I'm doing as well as confidence mentally.
Not the one which inspires me the most, but motivates me most. I seem to have a really inconsistent/weird taste of music, I like a lot of Hip hop, rap but not too 'yo-yo', pop with a good beat and lyrics, sometimes country as well as light rock, and I probably dislike any heavy type of rock.

Just an indescribably beautiful song.
It still almost makes me tear up a bit every time I listen to it.

This is proof that metal can be so much more than just mindless angst and anger like many people like to think.
