Wow, I'm not sure why but... this just kinda makes me feel all sad about AoS. I love prancing around the map, just having a casual time of it. It's just a fun game.
Hardcore players.... bleh.
It's kinda annoying just taking two steps - headshotted. Spawn - headshotted. Spawn, take two steps, SMGed. Rinse, repeat.

Having fun in a server is fine, but if you don't want to play with the big boys, then go to another server I say. If you're just out to have fun, I would strongly suggest going to a less populated server and playing there. Chances are likely you'll find people who feel your pain :) As for me, I enjoy challenges with a passion, so I'll stick to leveling the big shots :P

I dunno, saying it as "big boys" seems to imply that only the people who practise should be considered as adults. I prefer to see it as two different genres of player. Some are in one, some are in another, some crossove, some are right off the grid.
I play on Sham's exclusively, and I've got on just fine. I'm not planning on moving, no matter how much I get shot around. Also, just saying, but putting "having fun in a server is fine" seems to say that you aren't having fun. Aren't games about having fun, being entertained?

When I say big boys, I mean the people who play the game for its purpose and do it well. I enjoy doing that and believe me when I say I thoroughly enjoy myself :) You can build and mess around and have fun too! I'm not trying to urge you to stop, but you should expect spawn-killing at one point or another in a FPS game, especially one like this! They won't know whether you're playing around or not :P

Today there where some Intense battles on, (MINIT US) On the maps, Normandie, Newfort, Mesa. Whit the usual players offourse. Good times, good times.

I dominated the Komrades last night and got over 200 kills in under an hour on their server earlier today. I'll have to go to the Minit US servers then ... >:-)

I played on Minit twice today. The first time was the usual standard players (whom, once again, I swept through), but the second time was a real challenge! Most kills were earned and it felt good.

Too bad the AOS-Fort server is down. They had some of the best maps. Not ALL of them were good, but most were. Hey, Zeke, FIND ANOTHER SERVER HOST!
