Out of all of those the only thing I want is the Mountable Machine gun. The only issue is limiting. It would have to be extremely nerfed in one way or another to balance out it's extreme firepower. The one idea that comes to mind is having it only be deployable close to a CP. Mortars will ruin this game, period.

I dont mind the latters or stairs but the mortar i think should replace airstrikes. The C4 should be like a land mine that takes 25% of your health. the mounted machine gun is just too over powered you would be able to destroy buildings and people in seconds.

We are here because the Universe offers conditions so life can evolve,to the point where(at least one)species,in a small planet around a star lost between millions of galaxies,is able to ask itself:What was my origin? (M. Gleiser)

If implemented right the HMG could be a powerful anti-material weapon. It could be very interesting.

But if it's mounted that means it'll be stuck to a block an immovable, making you a sitting target with it. It would be a defensive weapon. Set up in a valley wall and wait for the blue-convoy to pass through. pop-pop-pop machine gun ambush making blue-scum drop

In real life, one shot from a pistol in the right place can kill someone but for the purpose of fun and fairness in FPS games this doesn't happen.

It so could, especially now that we will have the functionality of click+drag building. If we make building easier and make destroying buildings easier, it'll be an even more intense battle.

HMG- Good for defending anyway If the rifle stays so accurate you will see more then fast the HMG soldier headshoted by it
or dig a tunnel to a bunker and infiltrate it from down. Anyway its a Gun that needs to be placed so flanking would make it useless.
EDIT: And yeah the semi now destroys block faster so you could simply destroy the cover and kill him.

Mortar- It is totally unprotected in close combat battles only good for shoot n' pray tactic.

I'd like the WWII Dynamite, too.
To a Physicist, white and black is the presence and absence of color.
To a Fine Artist, white and black are just shades and tints of color.
To a Painter, any paint that you could get into a can is a color.
THIS color, on the other hand, is #b4d455.

Making semi destroy cover faster was a massive mistake. Semi is about kills not anti-material.

I envision HMG's primary role to be destroying cover, you would build yourself some safe cover to hide behind then get to work griefing like a madman.

AKA HMG is the ultimate spray-and-pray weapon. I guess suppression counts, too.

I assume if there is going to be any implementation of a HMG, its either going to be:

1. Only able to be fired when mounted on a block of some sort, with considerable recoil
2. Fired like any normal weapon, but with LOTS OF RECOIL (more than having it mounted) and some sort of mobility cost
3. Both of the above

the HMG recoil isn't so high cause its Fixed/pinned down on a bunker wall. its simply a awesome weapon and very powerful its only fault is mobility and that it can only shoot the way it is set up.
Anyway i would like HMG just cause it will make AoS a little bit more like it was tactical and slow not like now TF2 AoS.

I always been a fan of slow paced tactical gameplay. And the mortar and HMG can deliver that. Making trenches/fortifications will actually be usefull. Cause i'm more of a engineer/pioneer, then a shooter. So I will love it if those things come in the game.

the C4 suggestion can be replaced whit,'' Composition B'' that explosive mixure.is used in all kinds of weapons.mines/artilery shells/Sticky bombs (like in saving private ryan) C4 came from Composition B. It is still in use today.

Mines are a Yes (my opinion) it will make the game slower. And you will need to think about the routes you walk.

The ladder is a Yes too,it will make fortifications/tunnel entrances nicer.and compact.

Overal,i like the Fanmade picture of those item.
slow is smooth, smooth is fast
