Whenever I get griefed, I just take a deep breath, go back to the CP, get more blocks, and build it again. If you show persistence they'll get tired of it and eventually quit. If they don't quit, I just give up and move up to the front lines. Either way, griefing shouldn't be taken so heavily. Sure, it's ban/kick worthy - But the only thing you can do is notify an admin and continue playing instead of getting extremely angry over something that's not even real.

I don't see how you wouldn't be. You'd take way too much time looking for him, trying to stay alive behind enemy lines, and killing him though.

And killing a griefer isn't going to do much. They could always just resume when they spawn.

I don't like almost any of these changes. It is getting more complicated. Like all other FPS games.

Well this is actully a great idea, I'm already an engi, devensive, support kinda guy. As another guy said I build more than I shoot and I have thought of like a trench system and such like in WW1 or Bunker system like in WW2, I would imagine a 5x5 bunker ( I usually build them 3 deep and one step so I don't get shot while upgarding it and make a room behind it for stairs to the 2nd floor, or I just build a great castel wall) ammo and supply crates in it, a guy who yells commands/intructions (like a general) to the others and a guy with a radio tells them, and a guy with binoculars gets some co-ords for airstrikes/ morterstrikes ( I think I watched We were soldiers too much times) and a bunch of rifle man fire from the bunker and from the trench before the bunker, and a group of guys with SMGs assault the enemies, a support guy with an LMG supressing fire and giving covering fire to the assault guys, medic running around fixing guys up.... Just like in the great world wars.

Your ideas are great and there is nothing i disagree with , and you right about rushing and attacking , on servers nobody builds , only sneaking and shooting ... BTW looks like you played one of the battlefield games because of the 64 players , helicopters and planes ideas . GOOD JOB

Haha I was just thinking the same. Agree with and support you 100%. Only that bunker seems too complicated for even one person to do not to mention a whole bunch of players trying to coordinate themselves.

Btw that bunker reminds me of CoD WWII lol

Um, I'm on a netbook atm and I can't install BF2 but I do have it, so yeah, but still I don't get what this has to do with my idea, and besides in AoS you could build stuff in other FPS you can't.

The whole point in PR is the command chain with the Commander and Squad Officers and the building forward bases. Its EXACTLY what you just described

Ohhh, but that's not a game as you said, it's a mod for BF2, and I don't get how it is posible to build FOBs there.

LOL

Of course its possible.

The commander and the squads Deploy a mobile spawn point, and then they add TOW's and IGLA's
and sandbags and tripwires. And mortars and then the Officers designate a target and the mortar squad do the calculations to hit the spot with the mortar
