What is your style in a squad all using SMG's or a camo hide out and using a rifle to kick butt?

I mix both. I use the Semi as, well, as semi and not a sniper.

different situations call for different jobs. I try to do what I think the team needs. But I am always a builder. Count on the Construction Battalion to move forward and build a wall to help push the dirty blues back.

I always prefer sniping over going in, shooting, and getting killed.

Although on some maps (like Bridgewars) I'm pretty much a foot soldier because I run in and headshot people in the tunnels before hiding out somewhere.

I'm the lunatic that runs around Goon Haven 1 with a rifle in hand. The semi fits my hand much better as a rushing weapon than the SMG. Works pretty well, most of the time.

I play a sniper footsoldier. Hell yeah.

People really underestimate the rifle (the only weapon I use) and just how versatile of a weapon it is. I can snipe and engage in direct, full-on combat against other players, depending how the situation plays out. Granted, it may not have the rate of fire of the SMG, but it's just a good all around weapon.

I agree, camping is a borefest unless you spawncamp, and then that's just being a UDSA-Certified Grade A Prick. That's why I play a mobile, agile sharpshooter. I can fight directly on the frontlines (which I do often) or I can stay back and pick off the enemy!

Sniper/Footsoldier hybrid, I generally use my rifle close range, I'm living proof that "rifle = bad at close range" is wrong.
