Won't have to apply to just scopes.

Certain sights give less sight restriction, like mikuli's sight, which only has 4 dots in the center, giving a full view.

Have you EVER saw a weapon that was 100% accurate, and was always hitting the target?

The answer is NO

I like that semi we have now. If someone with a semi aims at you, you still have a chance to quickly hide somewhere, without dying.

Not unless your reaction time is less then a second =O OMGE HAXOR. But really, semi spread is just insane for me, I feel like ace of spades INCREASED the spread for me *Facepalm* hey, at least in .76 they made it so you can acctualy HIT objects. I mean really I can aim at some ones head, fog distantance, he isn't moving, and the bullet goes up 2 blocks. ;-;

Reaction time is less than a second? That's me and a lot of other people. If your response time is over a second you're just a tad slow. One second is rather long, if you think about it, you just have to run fast enough or retaliate when you see him. They increased the rifle cool-down by about a second, to give you an idea.
.76 is much better, I can agree with you. Random misses when you have it on their head is annoying.
Shouldn't be spreading to be 2 blocks above their head, however. Major exaggeration.

Side note: Dat response time.

I just use the default scope for the rifle
If you need a new scope, it justs means you're not so good at [The rifle] it

What if I modify my Semi to a M16A2? Or a Kar98K? Does that mean I need to use the default ironsights instead of better-suited equivalent ironsights?

It doesn't mean you're not good. It means you're not good with the iron sights.

No, the default sights cut off a huge part of the screen. If I miss, then I can't see my guy and I usually die.

Now don't say "You miss because you can't aim", I miss because of spread.

What we should do is find where the bullet traces fly at and see if it is random directions or if there is a pattern.
If there is a patter lets try and find all the pinpoints it aims and make a scope on it.
