Once the shotgun has lots of problems like aimbots
It should be replaced by either a pistol or a supply/item like an ammo box
If not
Medkits should be allowed to be hidden around the maps so that if you don't have a medkit
Search for them..extra health(by 40 points)
It is also good to search for medkits if u are on low-health and you are bored

After testing the click and drag building, I love it. I could build a small and effective bunker, with 2 block high walls on all sides + a roof to cover from grenades / airstrikes in about 20 seconds. Also, building your standard quick and dirty cover of a simple 2 block high wall now happens in just a couple of seconds. Reasonably fast front-line cover for the win. Also, since the length of the drag is only limited by the amount of blocks you have left, building bridges over small rivers and lakes is now very fast and efficient.

I'll be damned if this somehow takes away from the core game-play mechanics. Of course, I could see some of the veterans crying as building is now easier for newbies, but I really fail to see how that would be a bad thing. Although, I do kind-of like the large forts with many floors and little shooty-holes in the sides, as it's like a fun shooting gallery for the snipers in the other team. I don't really understand why people take the time to build them, though, as they're not very useful and not a least bit efficient use for the blocks.

I can also now confirm, that the 30 second respawn wave is in no way too long - flying around the map a bit while waiting for the timer to run provides some decent entertainment. Like Tank put it, dying was much less annoying that way. You're still out of the game for a good while, and your opponents can do a lot of things in that window.

The implied joke there was that it was just going to become a battlefield clone. And no, that would not be a good thing. It's perfect as it is.

For my undestanding, we can now build a massive wall with two clicks, am i right?
Don't get me wrong, it's a nice feature and all that, but come on now, there NEEDS to be a delay between every block placed by the click 'n drag-feature. It's just rediculously overpowered. Even if it places 2 blocks per second is fine, i wouldn't enjoy it, but i would deal with it. Just don't make it so that it just places all the blocks at the same time.

Horrible, doesn't promote teamplay, encourages lonewolfing. I have said it on the old forum and i will say it again, we need classes. Infantry with bazooca, medic, support with ammo-boxes, demolition with a bundle of dynamite that can be sticked to a wall.

I just went through my thoughts again after playing a good match of AoS. Let's just say that actually all those are welcome to the game, and the faster building actually could feel quite useful and sweet.

The only thing that kind of bugs me is the 30 second spawning time. Imagine if there's an another aimbotter against you and (as usual) somehow doesn't get kicked/banned at all. Your team just sits exploring the map waiting to play an another 5-10 seconds until getting killed again by that same freaking aimbotter.
I like the spawn time as a punishment for doing something "wrong". This'll force my buddies to play for the freaking objective again and disregard K/D ratio for a while. It'll be annoying with the hackers only, to me.

I don't think the click and drag will be overpowered. It still takes time. Its not like you can make a huge tall wall or anything. You still have to be able to reach it.

As for the spectate; I've always loved flying around the battlefield watching others fight. This will give people something to do during the 30 second respawn.

The 30 second respawn is a great idea too. Now you will be spawned with teammates in stead of by your self. This should promote team work and cooperation.

If this game does end up heading in the same direction as Battlefield, i don't think many people will be upset. Battlefield is actually an amazing series, unlike other FPS's *cough* *cough*

Personally, I do way better going solo them with a team. Its much easier and quieter to travel alone. Because the only way to communicate is by text, its often too difficult to type while on a mission. I wish the 30 second spawn waves could be turned off if a server didn't want them. When I go on group missions, some newbie often tags along and gives away our location by missing the target consistently. This will also make it harder to stop people with the intel. Because of the 30 second spawn wave, it will be way too easier to get the intel and almost require hardly any skill. And another thing, with the new update that means more aimbots. With the 30 second spawn wave, when aimbotters come along, it will be too easy to get the intel. People wont be able to stop the aimbotter. Even if they are kicked, the people that they killed will still be floating around waiting to drop the person with the intel. I just see the 30 second spawn as a big problem. And what about campers, a whole team can move over and camp the spawn and drop the whole team when they get into the game. This means another 30 seconds of waiting, what about 10 second spawn waves.
