Weapon preferance

Personaly I enjoy using the rifle though I change to smg sometimes.
I would like to know which weapon is most popular.
So... what is your weapon of choice?

Rifle almost always. SMG is exceptional circumstances.

Rifle is my main weapon, but I use the shotgun quite often when stealing the intel.

Depends on the map.
On Gen or some urban maps,I like both the SMG and the Rifle.
In Pinpoint and alikes,I use almost always rifle.
And I only use shotgun for teh lulz.

I mostly go with the rifle, it's definitely my favourite of the three. I have used the SMG and the shotgun numerous times though. They're fun to use, but I prefer the rifle overall. The only thing I have to say about the other two is that the SMG is a little too easy to use and the shotgun has sniping capabilities, which isn't right.

Almost always the rifle unless green is defending, at which point I switch to MG.

Mostly rifle and SMG,but I also love to use the shotgun just to laugh at people who call me a hacker when I one-hit-kill them at medium-long range.

I mainly use the rifle now, but the SMG when I need to take down a large structure that is well supported, or I just feel like giving it a try

I just started playing a few days ago. Im getting pretty good with the rifle. I have trouble with running and crouching targets though. Ive can never headshot some one who is squatting.

The shotgun is cool too. I use that when Im wrecking stuff up at the blue base. I charge them with grenades, hop in through the new hole in the wall and put blues to sleep.

Im absolutely rubbish with the smg though. Too much recoil and I cant hit anything. I saw an image of a mountable machine gun. Will that ever be implemented?

Exclusively shotgun. Yes im aware its worst in most situations, yes rifle is probably better, no, shotgun is cooler than the other two.

Since everyone mention every gun as their favorite, everything is balanced :D

I prefer SMG, but my complain is that the ammo burned up quickly compared the other two.

Semi usually, but if I want to support my team I swap to SMG and grief enemy cover. When i'm in a squad that is right up close I like to swap to shotgun and rush in to the spawn.

SMG is also great on servers without any epic players because you can still beat them at long range with an SMG.

My downright favourite for practicality (well kills really) is the rifle. I like sniping people from a distance, sometimes racking up my killstreak by camping and getting airstrikes.

I do switch to the SMG sometimes, when I wanna damage an enemy building or do some closer battle towards the enemy. I ALWAYS crouch when using the SMG, force of habit, which is good because it increases the accuracy.

Shotgun, I use it sometimes when raiding enemy bases, namely on Goon Haven 1, it's quite fun to use and I also like shottying enemies far away.

So overall, if each gun was a ratio out of 10, with the combined total score adding up to 10:

Rifle = 5/10
SMG = 3/10
Shotgun = 2/10

This represents how much I use each gun as well as my personal preference towards them.
