...Respawn in waves every 30 sec. What. Is. This. 30 sec is enough time for a group to run up from behind, kill everyone in the spawn, and GTFO of there with their intel. Not like intel matters anymore... but still, baddddd idea right here. I'm just going to sit back and wait for the rage to fill the forums.

If your going to add waves change the time. 30 seconds is WAY too long. I would make it 10, 15 seconds MAX. As you may tell, the way it is now is in no way a crowd pleaser.

-added click+drag building with right-click
Ok have any of you beta tested with this? We have no idea how it is going to change the game.

-spectate on death

I for one would like to be able to roam around a little during respawn time. What you saw then will most likely be different by the time you reach it. It's not ideal but there is room for improvement.
-weapons now do different block damage
Nice, Shotgun and SMG probably won't be able to tear the hell out of forts now.

-spade is stronger against blocks (2 hits)
HE RE-ADDED THE PICK LIKE YOU PEOPLE ASKED, ITS NOT THE DAMN SPADE.

-minor shotgun/SMG improvements
He never said he was buffing the range of either, he may as well be decreasing it.

-grab block color is now mappable (default key: e)
Just replacing the left mouse because that is for click and drag now

-wave respawning every 30 seconds
This is especially where I'm upset with you guys. You BEGGED and PLEADED ben not to make this game a run and gun quick action game. This is what this is for. Dieing is actually a punishment now, and the game is getting shifted away from near instant respawn time. Also spawns you in groups to ENCOURAGE TEAMWORK.

Seriosuly, ben is just trying to listen to the community. Let the guy work on his game and be polite about disagreeing with updates. There has to be some progress. If you don't like it, go host your own .26 server.

Yes, they have been beta testing for a bit now. This feature obviously going to allow for easier building.

What is there to change? Now with the waves it is probably going to stick to being that way. No need for change.

I might wanna call my anger-management counselor.

"Improvements". Decreasing range or anything like that would not be considered an "improvement".

This is disgusting.

No, not the changelog. What's disgusting is how you people are already saying the update sucks, even when none of you have played it yet. It's like someone judging a painting that they've never looked at before.

Even if a concept is bad, I'd much rather get to play around with it than have nothing at all. If click-drag building sucks, it can be tweaked or even removed if it has to be, but we won't know for sure until we get to experience it first-hand.

I am not saying the update sucks nor am I entirely upset with the changes, I am just very doubtful. We have all experienced the old updated and the terrible decisions.

I wish Ben were more interested in what the community has to say. It seems like what we say, as the community, goes by him without question. I wish we had more say, as we are the ones playing. Gosh, I didn't know about more than half the things on this list.

Sorry for striking at some things and people. I have a gut feeling we will be disappointed though. Maybe in the future we will get more say and decide more of what we want.

Another tip would be to give us the game files instead of the changelog. We know nothing and alot of time it leads to these rants. I would rather be safe then sorry.

Of course, you can't be sure how things will actually turn out since nobody has played it as of yet. I am definitely interested to see how some of the things are done since, as most you, I'm not too keen on some of the things, or simply can't grasp it completely. An example of this would be "minor shotgun/SMG improvements", I can't really see what is meant by 'improvements' since that could mean it works in a more suitable way, or it has gotten stronger. Hopefully, an increase of strength is not the case as they are already too powerful in my opinion.

I don't see the click and drag block placement changing anything since I've already seen faster block placement which didn't change anything gamplay-wise, then again, I could be wrong, it might be a lot better for planning of larger structures. The less annoying respawn beeps should be good and the tweaked particle effects should be nice to see. As for the spectating on death and the thirty second grouped respawn, I can't say much. I'd have to actually give it a go to have a good opinion of it. As for now, I can say that I'm happy there's going to be spectating. I'm not too sure about the spawning part, but obviously the thirty seconds makes way for you being able to spectate, which I don't have much of a problem with.

Overall, it's an interesting update since we haven't had one for a while and there's going to be a lot of changes. Looking forward to trying this one out.
