My 8 yr old would like to play, is it suitable?

Hi there, my 8 yr old boy is interested in playing this game. Is it something that would be suitable and safe for him? Does he have to be part of a team or can he just do things by himself? What is involved in playing, this would be his first real online gaming experience? Thanks for your time

The game itself isn't terribly violent, but he may be exposed to some pretty vulgar things from other people online, like foul language and swastikas made of blocks and such. I don't see much of the latter anymore, but the former will always be there.

Also, while it is intended to be a team game, it isn't much of a problem for someone to be playing off on their own without much communication.

Of course, you'll have to be willing to give up 25 US dollars. And then, the Minecraft servers are full of foulmouths, as well. You could just keep him offline. But, yes, foul language is indeed a problem in many MMOs, and Ace of Spades is no exception. Maybe if you edited the .png files to just altogether take away the text, then the language might no be such a problem.

Well, The In-Game community can get pretty bad to the point of Swastikas being made, male parts, the occasional female parts and bad language. I recommend you playing this game for at least a week before making a decision. Thanks for taking the time to read this sir!
