People really need to learn how to protest. Pulling a few servers that wont affect Ben in any way atm isnt protesting, its just hurting the people that actually like the flat maps you host.

and what does the removal of goon haven have to do with power abuse?
When wikipedia protested against SOPA by making their website unavailable the message was:
"hey, if sopa passes, this is whats gonna happen to wikipedia and you cant access our shit today so go against sopa"

when goon haven went down to protest against the admins:
"hey, we're gonna shutdown the best aos servers because the power admins are being dicks, although this doesn't affect any future or present experiences you'll have on goon haven due the admins, yet support us to get rid of the admins to get goon haven back bitch"

Tell you what, you think your right about closing GH down? Well the answer is NO. If you think what the admins are doing
is letting the community fall apart ,then you must be fucking tearing it apart. To all GH maniacs, shut the duck up and play he game. If you dont like the admins then fine, GO PLAY SOME OTHER SHIT. There are other servers out there like minit and aloha you think what your doing will work?? Well NO. It's not gonna do no shit .

Everyone just ignor this issue GH is making a huge deal out of. The admins are still very nice they trea you nice unless if you treat tuem nice. Be nic to them and they will be nice to you. Stack is NOT bad, i have been on IRC with him and he is willing to help if you ask him. Other good admins are PYXC, TGM, Izzy, tookman and there are lots more out there.

You GH maniacs dont realise what effect this can have on the developers. Its a game that they spend time making and now they are giving it to the community for free. Now your teying to tear the community apart.

Admins and Developers i am forever with you. This game you gave us is great.

GH servers were my favorite AoS servers, especially GH 1, the map and the admins in that server were epic.

I just hope that this protest will end soon.

It's really not my decision. The server belongs to Thal and it's his choice as to what he wants to do with them. However immature and inconcrete his reasons might be, that's just the way it is.

I have nothing to really reconcile with Thal as I have nothing against him. Albeit he seems to have quite a bit to say about the community and staff (myself in particular). He's free to have his own opinion. But that's no excuse to throw around the n-word and lash out every time he doesn't get the last word.

The sad part is, as you've pointed out, the only ones affected by this incident are the end users. This "protest" does nothing to the staff, nor the game as a whole. The users shouldn't be caught in the middle of some petty internet drama.

Hopefully it'll blow over. If it turns out that the server(s) will remain down, Enari is hosting a Goon Haven server for the time being. We'll just have to wait and see.
