There are a few things you need to seriously consider before you start a clan.

1) Do you have the time to efficiently maintain this clan?

2) Is your clan going to be original? or a template copy of the hundreds of already existing clans?

3) Can you attract recruits, form a community?

4) Are you SURE you wouldn't be better off joining an existing clan?

WRITING IT UP

In order to write up your clan thread, you should try and make your OP reflect what your clan is all about. Such as...

REMEMBER: Try to use good grammar and structure, also spelling. You want people to take you seriously!

The title of the thread should contain the clan name, and tag (tag = in game representation of the clan, i.e [LDR]DeathEnhanced).

FLESHING IT OUT

Maybe now its time to add a little more content to you clan, how about keeping in touch with your new founded legion of doom? like an IRC room?

Go to the main AoS website page, click on "links" and then click on the IRC link. From thier type in the chat /join #[insert clan name here]

And you will have created your very own channel \:D/ here you can chat with each-other, co-ordinate clan events, and plan your conquest of the human race.

These can help show the difference in skill/loyalty etc of the player.

Events,

When your clan has a few people, how about running a few clan events?

Such as clan matches (a battle between two clans) Simply go onto another clans IRC channel, or thread. And challenge them!
