Hello, it has been quite a while since i have posted anything, (if you even remember me), but excited to be back in the forums. I did not want to post this in the suggestions because it has nothing to do with gameplay, but with fan communication. (I LOVE THIS GAME, SO DO NOT TAKE ANY OF THIS OFFENSIVELY)The developers never leak info. On occasion, they may tweet something, or post something, but most of the time, the community just ends up fighting, and getting bored. I remember when we were fighting about whether there should or should not have been a pistol in the 0.75 update, and when it came out, we just got sprinting and casings. sprinting does not effect too much, and casings were just a polish. And yes, i also knew that modders rejoiced when separate kv6 files came for each gun's bullet. However, the update took quite a long time, and not much was added. At least a weekly twitter post would had kept fans of the game excited. I know the devs work hard on this game, but waiting for 0.75, it made many doubt that. This is just how I feel. I love this game, and this is just a tip to the devs.

Actually, info about turrets, boats and transparent block placement has been leaked. But I agree. Hyping things up before the release makes the fans want to stick around longer. All the advertising the did for MW3 got me to actually LINE up in front of gamestop during lunch, until I realized how bogus it actually is.

And, yeah, I think that ben should do something along the lines of the "weekly snapshots" from Minecraft, but instead of testing versions that you need to download yourself, it could be a weekly update with a small new feature, or with some bug fixes, instead of a long wait for some (not always) big update.

The game developers are actually doing a fantastic job of sharing info for updates. I think everyone who has the opinion that more information needs to be leaked, has to develop some patience and wait.

With the IRC, Twitter, Facebook and Forums, updates are posted frequently and on-top of all that, lovely people like LASTofS have made newsletters. They're enough updates going around. Sit back and relax, maybe play a game or two, maybe make a cup of tea, because the devs are busy making more content for Ace of Spades. ^^
