A Guide of Voxed:
Origin
Initially discovered in 1998, Voxed was the result of an experiment to create a self-sustaining alternate reality. A special device known as the Voxlap program was created to support the miniature creation and dimensional transportation to the worlds.Using a special synthetic based hologram of the Earth atoms, Voxlap was able to create one universe, named Voxed before succumbing to a mysterious error. The experiment was a complete success, but Voxed turned out to be a barren wasteland. Along with the many lives sacrificed to create the world and the poisonous air of the land, cut funding forced the experiment to end, but not before scientists noticed one thing: small numbers of blocks appearing out of thin air, apparently constructing themselves.
In 2009, a group of researchers were able to create a camera in the dimension and found stunning images. This called for an increase in research funding, and with a special soldier suit, a scientist managed to survive in the land. In present day, we can now monitor the world through special cameras installed in the mind of the inhabitants.
History:
In 1998, Voxed was a dark and deadly realm of air. There was little to no gravity and mass explosions were occurring at random intervals. Even more unfortunate, powerful winds of unknown matter sliced researchers to shreds. However, the barren land was host to a multitude of new compounds, and the few survivors managed to collect and recreate many of the minerals found in the dimension. Most prominent among these is a carbon iron compound that is currently being used as a synthetic replacement to diamond. A detailed analysis could have discovered many new elements had the dimensional gateway not been closed.
In 2009, Voxed turned from a barren land to a lush, black dimension suitable for development. More importantly stars and planets had formed. The most prominent of these planets was a rich earth like planet we know call Voxera. Even more surprisingly, Voxera contained water and grass, a clear sign that life could exist elsewhere. The planet was also home to many earth like minerals, such as carbon, sulfur, oxygen, all key ingredients of common flesh and blood. After a new dimensional gateway was opened and robots land in Voxera, the world was stunned to find sharpened sticks, burned out fires, and crushed wheat, signs of advanced civilization.
In 2010, the first earth human landed on Voxera. After adapting to his disabilities(see life section), this astronaut discovered the first intelligent aliens. It is these simple aliens that we are studying today.
Geography:
While astrospherically, Voxera may be an identical of Earth, geographically, it is radically different. This difference is due to Voxlap's inability to tolerate curves. Every single little speck of Voxera is a cube. An atomic study shows that even the subatomic particles of the dimension exist in cube form, the smaller particles following the orbit of an irregular rectangle. Even if one were to look the very grains of sand, they would find that each grain takes on a polygraphs shape. The closest scientists have ever managed to creating a curve resulted in a 100 side polygon.
Hilly 34%
Voxera is a planet of diversity and virtue, for its landscapes are endless. So far, scientists have found over 10 types of biomes in this land, along with 3 new climates. As of now, the most common biome is what is known as the "hills". The "hills" are sets of low mountain ranges, often including plateau and shallow rivers of fresh water. In these ranges, large quantities of iron have been discovered, along with diamond and platinum. Goat-like creatures inhabit this biome, along with what we can say most resembles fish. Sadly, this biome contains little trees or otherwise food supplying plant life.

Near Water 28%
Another strange biome is "shallow beach". As the name implies, the water is shallow enough to wade through, yet the beach is covered in slippery, wet sand. Two or three hilly islands are often located close to the mainland, and are suspected to have been formed from geothermal activity. Silicon along with minor quantities of sulfur can be found buried in the sand. A prominent location in western Voxera is filled with this beach like biome. Most interestingly, on rare occurences scientist have found straits, known as "Island 19"'s that connect several of these types of biomes. Along with the standard "fish", crab creatures, and "trees", many intelligent inhabitants have found shelter here.

Tundras 10%
Voxera is home to many tundras and glaciers. The tundra biome in Voxera is surprisingly rich with life, with creatures resembling, wolves, bears, trout, and owls. Small villages can also be found in this biome, along with a rich harvest of valuable minerals. Currently, the most studied tundra, "snowblind" is found to contain methane along with carbon.

Geothermal
The geothermal vents of Voxera are its greatest mysteries. Covering 5% of the planet, these portals into the inner layers of the planet reveal a deadly, powerful core. Project "Magma", an attempt to explore these vents, resulted in the annihilation of an entire squadron of researchers. From satellites, the vents have been discovered to contain similar types of gases discovered in 1998, along with many vents of melting iron.

Civilized 10%
The inhabitants of the planet are great builders, and much of the land has been filled in or dug out in order to support inteligent life.
Believe it or not, this base is located in a small island.
Scientists have been using these clusters of houses as research bases. With the consent of the inhabitants, of course.
Unkown 13%
We have no idea what these land are like, they send out a strong interference signal in radio waves, and have a very powerful magnetic field. Located in the far north of Voxera, these land are located deep below sea level. Scientists believe that these lands are possibly the result of an asteroid collision before the creation of an atmosphere.
Atmosphere
Unlike Earth, Voxera has a very plain atmosphere. Devoid of major cloud, the skies of the planet are always colored either a light blue, slight orange, or dark black. One interesting aspect of Voxera is the intense amount of fog in the ground. Scientists speculate that the fog is created due to the fact that water in Voxed is 3 times denser than standard water. This weight forces what should be clouds to the ground, and this fog blocks most evaporation from lakesides. However most of the planet's fog, like those around major water sources, have been observed to move to slight breezes, allowing the water cycle to continue. Other fogs remain stationary. An estimated 30% of the planet's water is located in the most intense fogs, making water one of the most ready sources of the planet.
Basic Life
Most life in Voxera is multi-celled and large. However, an estimated 20% of life in Voxera is single celled bacteria. Most of these bacteria are harmless, and feed off of nutrients in the dirt, plants and microorganisms similar to plankton. Some bacteria are extremely helpful like those found in most dirt and stone. These bacteria help compress the stone into block like shapes that are perfect for enormous building projects.
A certain type of bacteria exists in every living organism on the planets. Spread through air, it infects the eyes, causing a block-like blur at close range. This blur, however diminishes greatly past 5 meters of distortion. In fact, the bacteria improves the eyes at a far range to the extent in which an infected can see almost 3 miles in thick, heavy fog. Controlled substances of this bacteria are being tested to see if they can cure vision defects today.
Not all bacteria take a friendly or neutral stance. A certain group of parasites are incredibly dangerous to the non immune, and reside in the hilly locations. The msot common parasite is what some explorers call the "Sanitizer". Around the size of the common virus, this parasite is transmitted by air, and lodges itself deep in between the spinal cord and the brain. The first symptom is a humongous release of endorphins, causing temporary releases of pain. Following that is an insane desire to jump off cliffs, along with an increase sense of aggression. The bacteria, fortunately, leaves the brain after 16 months of activity.
Plant Life
Much like Earth, plant life varies greatly depending on a given location. Hilly biomes are notorious for a grand supply of roots, not, bulbs, berries and other light foods. Plant life prospers in most hilly locations by grabbing water from the fog in the air. Sadly, trees find it hard to grow on mountainsides due to exponential decreases in oxygen at higher elevations. To make up for this, plants in the hills of Voxera spread like wildfire; they spread seeds in 5 days of birth, and fully mature in 2 days of birth.
Most prominent of plant life in these high elevation terrain are a group of grass species. This grass has a very uniform manner of spreading, each plant only spreading to an adjacent 12 inches of dirt.
Coastal plants lack the disadvantages of mountains, but lose the advantages of fog. Still, near coastal regions have possibly the largest non-human made plants in Voxera. These plants create sap, resulting in priceless amber. Along with spa, many plants drop the Voxeron equivalent of fruits: small beady seeds that taste like watermelons, large "coconuts" of dripping juice, and long stalks of banana like fruit.
Tundra plants are lodged deep in the ice and have not yet been thoroughly researched.
Animal Life
The animals of Voxera are rather simple. They exist in five main classes:
Sea Water Creatures- These creatures are the most adaptive of the list. They include the companions of fish crustaceans, archanids, and mammiliar vertebrae. Fish are the most diverse species, wih 60,000 different species having been recorded. A prime example of the "fish" is an glowing blue trout, which scientists name Lapursla Voxeron. This fish breathes through its skin rather than gills, and is especially noted for having an eerie glow while feeding. Feeding off of plankton, they are on the bottom of the food chain, usually eaten by their much bigger cousins, the Mandrake Spearfish. An elusive predator, this Spearfish demonstrates the first sign of intelligence in the evolution chain- it traps animals between an extremely adhesive plant that grows next to many beaches. Once trapped, the spearfish displays a remarkable ability to study the water creature. After eventually understanding the physiology of a certain species, the spearfish is able to scare entire flocks with quick stealth kills. Even more remarkably, mothers have been seen to "teach" their children this knowledge.
Other, larger species exist in the water. These species are very much like present day whales and dolphins, without the noteworthy blowholes, Instead, theses species breathe through holes in their heads, and are therefore able to keep their brains in healthy conditions for long periods of time. Scientists have recorded one species, the Prosa Surrecta to be able to stay in water for months before serious harm.
Flying Creatures- "Bats" are the most common animals of flights. With long skinny wings and strong, sharp fangs, a species known as Vaspere Larpa make up 5% of the entire flight activity. This creature uses sonar detection much like normal bats, but is also able to see infrared, detecting possible friendly heat sources and enemy prey. These bats are not nocturnal,rather are awake only in the late hours of the evening. For this reason, these bats eat half their body weight, and hunt all year around.
While "bats" might be common in numbers, their waking hours make them hard for scientists to study. Instead researchers turn to the bird-like creatures, who slowly migrate around the world for feeding zones. Among these birds are the elusive pidgeon, the kingly albatross, and a strange new "hawk". This hawk intrigues researchers, who notice it has a jet like shape of body: short sharp wings with a strong large tail. It is speculated that the hawk was first like an eagle, but due an unknown environment, its wings grew useless and its tail became dominant.
Reptilian- The reptilian class make up 40% of all land animals, an 4% of all sea creatures. Much like earth creatures, these reptiles are protected by layers of thick scales. However, unlike the earth reptiles, many species tend to live in a group, watch over each other, and feed their children, much like standard mammals. Snakes are very prominent as reptilians, and are noted to be the only species that can see properly in the land, immune to the blur causing bacteria. For this reason, one scientist was know to transplant snake eyes into his own, and displays superhuman perceptions of sight. Snakes fully exploit this weakness and use it to examine the environment, and find food caches.
Near water reptiles have the physiological properties of amphibians, such as the toad. A toad-crocodile mix found in rare swamp biomes is able to leap several feet and perform astounding feats of weatherly endurance. They also grow through the metamorphic process, starting out as tiny lizard before displaying amphibian qualities.
The most magnificent of all reptiles is the true "dragon". Ranging from 15- 30 feet, these dragons are extremely rare, only residing in the most extreme of locations. Based off of satellites, it has been discovered that while some dragons have wings, most are quadrupedal hunting creatures. Dragons east comparatively little for their body mass, and are very omnivorous. Instead of the fiery fireball dragons were rumored to spit out, observations have shown that these creatures rely on a steady blast of hot air to cook their meat. This air is suspected to be poisonous as well, for three short blast kill the animal.
