You don't. You avoid them at all costs and develop your skills until you're ready to join them.
I personally think wall-popping is a deuce thing to do, if you overuse it. Blasting a hole in the wall you're hiding behind is a way better tactic, as most people are intellect enough to aim at the top of the wall.

I killed Tank yesterday with the technique of copying the Mikuli's playstyle. You got to feel what the Mikuli is feeling, see what the Mikuli is seeing, and think what the Mikuli is thinking.

Not always, depends when/where.
I've used it to dart into cover a fair few times against a mikuli.
Running through the open while not knowing where anyone is - that's a bad idea. Only if you have very good team coordination that you can do that knowing you won't be immediately hit down.

^to sort of add onto that, randomly sprinting on-and-off can be used quite tactically when you're in an enemy's line of sight. Can't say I've tried that against mikuli specifically (can't remember the last time I was in-game with him) but it works like a charm against a good 80% of players I've seen.

For fighting players like mikuli, mu tactic is to rush them. With an smg. Yes I know that sounds bizzare but ohhh boy does it work, and iv used it to get the drop on mikuli multiple times thus far.

I put it down to the fact that mik is concentrating on longer ranged shooting.

I'll agree with this. Sprinting has become an issue for me personally because I abuse it for convenience when I shouldn't.
