How to kill a mikuli.

Strafing is good, but again.. mikuli's can usually swipe fairly effectively, and it's also more difficult to shoot while strafing.

I've killed <@mikuli> before, and so he has killed me too. I have to say it was pretty fun.

What some times works for me against mikulis is stealth, but that goes very deep within my playstyle since unlike mikuli I don't rush to the line of fire (depends) but rather I go under it or flank it from another side, thus giving me the element of surprise which some times helps against those caffeine-pumped squirrel like reflexes. Don't forget to throw your nades and use your spade boys, throw blocks at them too if you can..

One such tactic is what I like to call "Wall-popping", where the mikuli in question will pop only for a moment, line up your head, take a shot, and drop you like Skrillex drops the bass. Mikuli's are able to do this because of supreme reflexes and a likely cocaine addiction.

Another common tactic of the mikuli is a variation on "wall popping", where the mikuli will still pop up but be moving left to right while doing so. He'll usually be doing this behind a small to medium sized two block high wall, or a gap in a three block high wall.

My only criticism, this is a Tank devised technique, get those facts straight~

sorry, wrong. mikuli has always been one level ahead of everyone else (Tank and tGM right behind him last time I played), and most of the competitive players have based a good amount of their gameplay off his style

I have learned almost everything I do from Tank, I've just put my own spin on it. I'll never be as hard to predict as Tank, though.

Amen to this. I think I'm at least a half-decent player but everything I learned was learned by watching mikuli and what he does, copying it, and then figuring out how to counter what he's doing.

How to kill a mikuli? Avoid him. Be as random as you can, though even being random doesn't help when you're up against a guy with the reflexes of a caffeine-pumped squirrel. He'll pound your head when you appear and will be preparing when you're not visible. If you make a mistake, he will kill you from it.

The rifle isn't a good weapon against mikuli. Range doesn't matter with him.

Get into close to mid-range and use the SMG. Even prior to .75 it's still a viable weapon anti-huehue.
