Not if done right. Right now the grenades are pretty much useless for griefing, so we could make the rocket like a grenade you can aim.

I thought you said you don't come to AoS forums, anyways, then that won't be a rocket. A grenade in real life doesn't do a lot of huge structural damage, but rockets do.

I do occasionally (like every day).

Its not my favorite forum since every minute I loom under the threat of another warning. But yeah.

On-Topic:
We could have the rocket make a 3x3x3 hole. That would be good for opening up 3 block thick walls.

For me, i honestly like the idea of conserving ammo and health... HOWEVER These crates could encourage building and defending, ie. Mini command post as another poster mentioned, or have the crates in a TF2 dispenser sort of setup, a player earns this crate block (kill streaks ect...) and places the crate down. This crate works like any other block, thus is destroy-able. So this gives the incentive to team mates to defend the crate for one thing, allows another reward for players AND give another objective for the enemy team. TO BLOW THE THING UP! hehehehe this would thus encourage strategy with out the herp derp got and air drop herp derp spam at front lines and hope for the best herp. This would also give bunkers even more of a use besides just hard points and camping spots.

One other thing. wouldn't it be cool if ammo crates worked like the barrels in DOOM ect, as in they explode when there hit with a bullet. Thus also giving the strategy of placing it close enough that player can use it, but far enough that they are out of the blast radius and cant just sit there on the box with infinite ammo. This would also allow the box to be sacrificed as TNT if it is not needed else where. As i said the kill streak would mean the player EARNED the box so its unlikely to be used in a grief... does a 5X5X5 blast radius seem to large for you guy? Anyway that's up for discussion anyways.

I constantly have the problem of ammo conservation. With a semi, you have a fair few bullets, but when you run out, if you last long enough, you have a problem. You have no way of defending yourself from others with guns, and if you are in enemy territory, getting to the cp is going to be tough. These would solve that.

Smg is nerfed and that's the issue, because all you waste your ammo for 3 bullets for headshot and a third of a magazine for a body shot.

Ooops, sorry I did not understand what you meant. You see you need to empty a about third of a semi's clip to kill with the body. Also, the smg has not really been nerfed. In the pursuit of playability, an smg needs to have low damage, to couter balance the fire rate. Also, with burst firing and crouching, its possible to kill people with an smg at great distances, which is not right.

3 things solve that:
1. Only shoot when you know you can hit him
2. Fire in bursts, its more accurate, and it doesnt waste ammo
3. Stay as hidden as possible to get to the intel and back to cp and whatnot, im a ninja, so ive mastered that task.


But with this ammo conservation, i've been in the master of the art, CS:S teaches a man good. You should try it sometime.
