Good Sights/Scopes To Use

Postby Carnage » Wed May 16, 2012 1:39 am

Carnage's Scope/Sight
Alright, so recently I made a scope/sight by using Photoshop. Of course, it's one of those scopes where there's the red dot in the center of the screen, but to make it easier to see, I added two lines on either side. This scope is extremely accurate, as proven by my playing with it on the Komrade Server. I was getting headshot after headshot.

ColorPinpoint's Scope/Sight
This scope was made by ColorPinpoint, a fellow Komrade, and is extremely accurate. It has a wonderful viewing area, where it's very easy to see the enemies. It's not one where there's transparency all over the sides of the scope.

To get the image(s)...
  • Go to the image(s).
  • Right-click, and select "Save Image As".
  • Save the image as semi.png and place it into your Local Disk>Ace of Spades.
The scope is already transparent, so you don't have to worry about it. Hope you all enjoy!

Very nice. Did you base it off Pavel's?

I did like the way Pavel put the two lines on either side of the red dot, but the accuracy was a bit off.

Yeah, thanks a lot for fixing the accuracy with that. You actually saved my rep in my clan. I was one of the best in my clan, but my scope was way off after the update, and I still used it. It made my accuracy way off and I was seriously sucking. I was also losing my confidence. I saw this and thought "Well, he says its good, and I might as well try it since I could hardly get worse than I am" and it was really a lifesaver. I'm better now, especially considering that I have not played in a long time. I was racking up a lot of headshots. The thing is, it seemed to be firing slightly upward of the dot. Did you find that too? It does not really make much of a difference. Just wondering if you noticed that, or whether I was just mistaken.

Yeah, Varun. With Pavel's scope, you had to aim in the direct middle of the two pixels at 399x400, with mine, however, it's just one pixel, so it's more accurate to hitting the head.

Nice job bro!
These kind of sights are PERFECT for those who move + shoot most of the time.

kinda looks like enari's except without the fading and vertical lines but it's nice to keep level with walls and stuff.

Yeah, Craft. The dots on both mine and Enari's scope are very close, but both scopes are extremely accurate. But I didn't take Enari's scope and edit it. ;p And the people who try mine out notice it's very easy to get a headshot on a moving individual.

Bleh, I dont like this kind of scope. I rather use either my M16 or Saiga Semi ironsights.
