Any old players may remember me as a modder. I was one of the first. I have been here for nearly as long as the game. But I just haven't had any time to play it. I don't know why either. I don't even think it was the game which I miss. It is good but I think it was more the feeling that I was doing things exclusively for people, experimenting and having fun. The friendships you make with other modders are fantastic. You help each other, work with each other and improve with each other. It actually gives me shivers coming back here. Seeing what has changed. I just downloaded the latest version of the game and I don't even know what has been added yet. I can't wait to go into the files and have a look. The last thing I remember is the shotgun being added. And then patched... But back to what I was talking about before, coming back here. I remember SIMOX when he was just starting out. I remember seeing his SPAS-12 pack and thinking 'Damn.' And now look at him. Moderator of the modding section of the forums. Still, twice before I have said that I will be coming back, playing more and making more guns. But I just haven't been able to. So this time, I'm not going to say that. Instead I am going to say farewell. It almost brings a tear to my eye saying that, but I must. I just don't know if I will ever play this game again. I will try, now and then, to play. But no promises. I will post links to my two gun packs which I just found fun to make. I would also love to finish the third, something which I am sure is not possible, especially since I reckon it would take at least a week to do with a team of four. It was going to be a community project, anyone could submit their guns as long as they were on the list. We would then tweak them and make variations. And it would've been huge. I don't know how big the biggest mod pack is now, but this would've featured 50 guns with about four variations each complete with iron sights and sounds. It would also have about ten player skins, five grenade skins, five tent skins and a few briefcase skins. The complete package. Still, here are the links.

EDIT: I have decided, just for a bit, to do some more guns. I don't know how often I will do this but at the moment I'm just making packs out of the guns I have already made. Maybe this WILL be my return, I don't know. All I know is that I'm having fun.
