Hompy's Machine Guns

Hey guys,

If you hadn't noticed hompy made a neat little heavy machine gun script. Its currently available on "Shams little pony".

What you do is go to the red platform (its in the top of the church on shams) and press space-bar, next thing you know, your standing in a wide open pillbox with a redlining, with a very juiced up SMG, also your movements are restricted to give the impression of a mounted gun I believe.

It shoots faster, does more damage per shot and is generally AWESOME.

BUT, one annoying little thing, when your up there....you get shot in about 2 seconds flat. You pretty much NEVER get a chance to fire the gun.

What I would like to see: A system where you can BUILD one of these emplacements, ANYWHERE execpt near your own spawn, to stop 50 HMG'ers camping the intel. It uses up all 50 of your blocks, and you cannot re-fill those blocks in the same lifetime. This gives it defensive capabilities.

I haven't used it yet, but I am going to see it now. it seems like adding one would make this game so much better, I agree that it should be deployable and things

The funny thing is DE, that hompy can put MGs ANYWHERE he wants, and the reason why the MG is so exposed is because having a 3 block wide window to shoot from is a very bad idea.
We tried using MGs on Bridge Wars but it ended up with people glitching into the bunker and teamkilling the MG gunner, and the gunner also got shot from the fog-line.

Also, the MG cannot be placed by normal players.

I think this would be good, but how close too spawn are we talking? Even if intel is being camped you could tunnel. Would also require teamwork too take out those MG's

MG's arnt meant to be this ultimate duck you weapon that destroys anyone that gets into its range, he made it with limitations in mind.

Yet none of you post a video of the Machine gun. Since people seem so doubtful about it, someone else needs to post a video of them using it effectively.

I believe the map was Normandie, and there was a machine gun nest at the church. Somehow teamkilled Tiki.

The MG bullets doesnt destroy any blocks, but it counts anyways if you shoot 3 bullets into a block then teamkilling gets enabled, have no idea why though.
