While Mortars and HMGs could be fun on some servers I would probably like to see them as additional content (like airstrikes), as they would totally ruin the Babel servers. (Which happen to be my favourites :P).

Yeah, but before you didn't win by just running and gunning. You had to build to survive, you had to tunnel to advance. The game was harder by a shitton back then, and it actually promoted TEAMWORK and stealth. It was much better and exciting than the current state of the game, which seems to be taking direction to the arcade shooter number 9999 more and more, each update.

Some of us simply want the building, stealth, teamwork and tunneling aspects of the game back. Building nor tunneling is a credit to your team no more. A credit to your team is killing as much enemies as possible. This was a credit earlier too, but much harder to accomplish, because people were actually cautious about dying, and used cover more.

Since you don't find building part of the game very enjoyable, I assume that you haven't played the 0.1-0.4 versions at all.

Building anything more than 2x2 wall is useless. And that's what we want to change.


I realise this. I am not saying that building is bad per se. I am saying that a lot of the useless crap people build is bad. Stuff like swastikas and low walls that people have to move around. This stuff gets in the way.

I don't mind people who build large forts in areas where they can be used. For example, on pinpoint. The first thing to be built is a wall on your side of the map. I never said building was useless. It would make AoS very difficult if building was removed. No, what I get pissed off with is the people who make the useless things that get in the way.

I find building necessary, and I enjoy it. I build tunnels, I build walls. I build practically. I didn't say I did not enjoy building. I said that I don't appreciate people who abuse it. Is building a wall around the cp REALLY going to help the team? IS IT? Is putting a swastika on the map going to help the team? IS IT?

I like building, but you and I know that there a noobs all over the place who build useless crap, and destroy practical buildings in the process. Since I actually use my head when I play this game, I am naturally stealthy. I promote team work through fighting, holding key positions and all of that. Fighting and building go hand in hand in this game, but people abuse their ability to build.

They would not ruin Babel the server can simply make mortar and hmg do " NO-DAMAGE "

This is a ranting post.
Bloody hell, what kind of mess I've walked straight into? I don't play the game for a couple of weeks and this steaming pile of shit happens. The game is insanely unresponsive, and don't even get me started on the weapon "rebalancements". Rifle works like a shoulder mounted revolver now, inaccurate as all hell along with the insane recoil that was added to it. It used to be the weapon of the marksmen, SMG does that now. SMG fires a straight bloody line without any misaccuracies or recoil, cuts thru' everything like a blade in hot butter. Shotgun users are pretty much all persona non grata now as they fucked up the shotgun so bad. I remember back in 0.70 shotgun users were a force to be reckoned with for us all as they could take you down in one shot and you had to watch out. You can now duel with the shotgun users in *close range* with the ever useless rifle and come out victorious. With the unresponsiveness of the game, the only people that can actually win in this game are SMG users as they can just spray shit around and still kill people. You have to make thrice the effort in this version to kill someone with a rifle and if you're a shotgun user, you might aswell be just a spectator. I've read that Ben is planning to turn this game into a commercial one. Well, if he can't keep *three* weapons in balance, he better go flip burgers. He should watch out while holding the tongs though, if his hands are as imbalanced as this game then McDonalds might fire him aswell.

i would like 3 basic things, if u can do 1 thats good enough, first it needs a flash lights, lots of player get pissed when they cant see where they're going, secondly it need tanks and other vehicles, itmay be hard but it would be amazing, u can make it like, each team get 1 vehicle between 2, for example, a team of 16 gets 8 tanks, and the tank should fit through anything smaller than 4 or 5 blocks, and when the vehicle is destroyed it respawns like players, so people dont steal them when a player need to get out the tank for a quick second the player should be allowed to have 20 - 30 second to dig a path or something before others can enter, the tank should hold 2 players, driver and gunman, and thridly to make it short, try and do all of that but with aircrafts like helicopters, and y not try and make it like css, make the blue team counter terrorists and green team terrorists, and if possible let there be 1 more weapon choice...rocket launchers, about 5 rockets will do to make it fair, they can be the only thing that can destroy tanks an aircrafts fast enough, thanx for reading and i really hope that inspired you

Yeah, flashlights are a must. I do indeed get pretty annoyed when all I have to go off of in a dark tunnel is the little white box outline telling me where the block would go if I placed it. Very annoying.

Problem. One of the reasons this game works "on your grandma's rig" is that it is incredibly simple. Adding all that kind of stuff would raise lag, and people with poor internet (me) wouldnt be able to properly play.

0.75 server are just laggy and gay. 0.70 are better. varun look at Rs matches we are waiting for u!!
Iv regret what iv done. Not being a man and not taking those bans was a bag mistake! I regret all iv done and swear to god I won't be some a idiot again and that's why this acount is locked...

I think we can all agree to that 0.75 has many bugs but is still a good version.
