Well, with the recent burning of the Blockistan records during a riot in the blue capital, we need to keep hold of everything about Blockistan/Greenland.

We all know the basic story. Blockistan was a vast nation situated on a continent split by a river. The west was a barren, great plains type area elevated over everything else. The east was wooded and closer too sea level, but still had some hills.
This land was guarded by the feared Blue Army of Blockistan. After eliminating resistance of the smaller Red and Yellow nations, Blockistan thrived. Things went well until a series of crimes spread through social media gained the attention of the government. Occuring mostly on the lowlands, the poorer factory workers and loggers, and architects held massive protests over wages, which often would become violent. To combat these, the government sent in the feared Blue army to control protests. The commanding blue officer felt that things had gone on long enough. A lot of the riots started with the younger population making outrageous claims about overworking and abuse. The lowland workers themselves received wages similar to there upland counterparts, and the blue just couldn't see what the issue was. Both sides misunderstood each other.

Thing got bad after two weeks. At a particularly large protest at the Northwoods Logging Corp. mill the crowd began tipping trucks, breaking windows, and starting fires. The Blue was called in, and tried to force the protesters back. One of the young, rebellious mill-workers grabbed a large spade, and swung it at a soldier. In cloud of confusion, he was shot dead by the Blue guard. The protesters became silent for a moment, then became even more aggravated, and forced the blue's to leave. They raised the mill-workers bloody green shirt as a flag.

Over the course of the next week, outrage spread throughout the lowlands. Loggers and factory workers didn't show up to work. Members of the Blue Guard defected, dying their uniforms green with tree sap. The remaining Blue Guard was pulled out of the region, and the lowlands, now called by some "Greenland" declared the central river a border of their new, independent nation. The civil war followed.

Yeah, I based most of the story off of that one. That one is slightly biased towards green, so I changed it up a little.

Yeah, I threw in the architect part at the last second and didn't really think of the building thing in-depth until later.
