I vote NOOOOO because bullet drop would commence less players over unable to kill others.

exactly.
if there going to be bullet drop the drop has to be BARELY noticeable. and the fog has to be little to none.

i'm definitely for bullet drop. it's a highly valuable, often unrecognized feature that deepens the experience because action has to be backed by thought rather than just being purely visual. mentally calculating a long-range shot above your target and successfully hitting it after you fire is one of those very rewarding feelings that cannot be explained.

Maybe a .01 randomness.
To a Physicist, white and black is the presence and absence of color.
To a Fine Artist, white and black are just shades and tints of color.
To a Painter, any paint that you could get into a can is a color.
THIS color, on the other hand, is #b4d455.

No bullet drop.
Sure for people that use smg on pinpoint it doesn't matter and even makes the game more tacticool, but for me this is just a slightly less horrible version of 0.75's idea of 'fixing the rifle'.

TL:DR
1)Have to increase fog distance.
2)Have to add new gun with scope.
3)Slightly harder for pro's to snipe, impossible for n00bs to snipe with out being shot first.

I strongly disagree with this idea for a number of reasons.
1)In Battlefield you do not really have to adjust for gravity until your target is 100+ meters away. The fog in Ace of Spades is at about 100m away so clearly there is no need for bullet drop unless the distance to the fog is enlarged.

2)If we do implement bullet drop and add more distance to the fog then we need to add a new weapon to act as a sniper rifle, the current rifle does not have a scope and therefore does not come with horizontal lines on the recticle to help with aiming for bullet drop. This means we are adding a sniper rifle, currently it is fairly easy to trap enemies in their base on Pinpoint etc and to start spawn killing them, if we add a sniper rifle with massive distance then it is harder for n00b players (which compose probably half of a team in a game) to end the spawn killing as they have to walk further across open ground before they can kill the snipers at close range (and they're going to standing still aiming for a longer period of time if they are trying to shoot the sniper).

Clearly bullet drop will make sniping from a distance a little more complex for expierenced marksmen and then basically impossible for your players who are new or who are not very skilled. This will allow skilled players to easily start spawn killing and then harder for n00b players to kill the snipers who are spawn killing.

I'm honestly amongst those people who are skilled at long range sniping in both Battlefield and Ace of Spades and I don't think we should implement bullet drop in Ace of Spades because it is going to make the game harder to play for new and unskilled players and will probably piss alot of them off.

This is where we would need to point out the fact that AOS is just a game. Bullet drop to me would be more like an aesthetic or accessory. For example, when you're sniping at fog level, you've got to make sure you aim slightly above to guarantee a headshot. I support this suggestion because as many others have said, bullet drop will actually force players to think about where their shot is going to go instead of relying on luck.
Since we don't have Battlefield graphics, for bullet drop to make any real impact, we would probably have to exaggerate on the speeds and trajectory angles. If developers over exaggerate the idea, the suggestion would be so badly done that many would beg for Ben to change back to its original accuracy.
One support for bullet drop would be that it would allow hitting on blind spots. If you are crouching behind a low wall and the enemy can estimate where you are, they can use the trajectory to hit you even though you cannot see them.

Frist things first.Fix the rifle acuracy.Coz i hate wasting one extra bullet to kill an ashole.
Make servers more playable. Now this aint happenin coz of my pc sucks. Before 0.75 came out i had lag
problems happen to me only a few times. Now it is everytime.Thats like ten extra bullets from rifle and a nade.
Weaken the smg acuracy coz now you get sniped with it like hell.
Make a shotgun less of a game of luck.
Lets use maths now.10+2=12 that means i wasted 12 bullets and a nade to kill two guys.
Until these things are fixed i suggest that this thread gets locked.

We are here because the Universe offers conditions so life can evolve,to the point where(at least one)species,in a small planet around a star lost between millions of galaxies,is able to ask itself:What was my origin? (M. Gleiser)

Client side bullet-drop option. Turn it on if you want it, leave it off if you don't. Everyone has a toggle switch. Affects everyone else on the server.

Problem?

Dont you think it will take alot of processing power to calculate all those trejectrys especially with SMGs and shotguns. Itll just add more lag to the servers.
