so nerf the rifle (at that point what purpose does it serve exactly?) so we can add a sniper that does the same thing the rifle used to do? yeah no.

The current accuracy is actually good enough if this update was ever to be implemented.

Heck, if you want, we could just remove the zoom on all guns and only implement zooms in sniper rifles.
To a Physicist, white and black is the presence and absence of color.
To a Fine Artist, white and black are just shades and tints of color.
To a Painter, any paint that you could get into a can is a color.
THIS color, on the other hand, is #b4d455.

Yes, for bullet drop I'd vote yes.

We'd finally get some challenge for the shooting, when the shooting appears being harder for the longer distances! ^^

What does bullet drop have to do with fog being reduced ? Besides the fog is already close (sniper wise)
AoS is NOT Minecraft with guns !!!

You two-face pieces of shit!!When 0.75 was released you all started a flame war against the new acuracy that rifle got.You raged how shotgun became a game of luck. Now you all are like this:Yay this is sucha good idea yay yay!!!!!!
If this was used the way i think it would be used the shotgun would be even worser than it is now.The rifle would be worse.

But ppl probably say yes coz a admin made this thread. If a normal member made this thread ppl would reply like this:

OMFG u sucha noob, duck you now way,GTFO,(Alot of trolling and cursing.)

Try to think. Please. The game would be sooo boring and easy with the current non-bullet drop. You can just voted no. No need for that attitude. Also StackOverflow is a trusted member of the community, and he give so much cool ideaz that most ppl agree.
And i havent see any thread that poll about this.

Again, rifle and shotgun would be VERY USEFUL IF YOU KNOW HOW TO USE IT CORRECTLY. And the shotgun maybe wont affect by this as its range is VERY SHORT.

Anyway, back to topic, that would be cool, but how do the ironsight in guns would look? maybe some lines and numbers in the aiming thingy?(Talking 'bout the default)

+1

LORD NO.
I am telling you all as a mature member of the community:
This WILL ruin the game.
Why would it ruin the game?:
*It would be ALOT harder to use the rifle.
*Would make sniping much harder... (Okay, that may be the point but this relates to the next point)
*...Therefore, the battlefield will probably be littered with SMG and Shotgun users (It'd be rare to find at least 2 rifle users on the map, this is an estimation).
*Rifle would become useless.

And to elaborate on my third point: I know that there would also be bullet drop on the SMG and shotgun, but the SMG and Shotgun are (and will be if this gets added) MUCH more easier to use than the rifle (AND the SMG is alot more powerful than the rifle in it's current state).

Absolutely no.
AoS gameplay and mechanics is delightfully simple, it's why I have enjoyed the game.
I don't see why we need something like this.
IGN: TheGrandmaster or <@tGM~wiki> | #AoS: IRC channel
<@mikuli> the bad part in this plan is that it involves an already busy tea-drinking scone chomper with a monocle

I am not fan of a pin point super accurate rifle. I also I am not a fan of the random chance cone of fire thingy. I think it is more than fair for players to make adjustments based off of angle and distance. But the adjustments need to be intuitive and compensating for gravity is a realistic intuitive adjustment.

Some people mentioned randomly varying the bullet to the left of right, I am against that.

Im still questioning the point in zoom and bullet drop when the render distance is so laughably short. It works in other games because you can usually see the other end of the map, in this, well, you can see across a small building pretty much.

Well:
I'm really unable to figure a way bullet drop'll successfully work without junking one or more of the weapons. As fluttershy said, render distance is incredibly short.

Would it be random? That wouldn't work because almost everyone [myself very much included] absolutely despises luck based weapons.
Scaled based on weapon? Again, I don't think that'll work. We'll very likely have one weapon not too horribly hindered by it and the others far behind for several updates until either ben and the fun police strike oil or discontinue bullet drop completely.
Flat rate across the board? Same issue as the previous method, only I doubt there will ever be a flat rate that leaves all the weapons competitive with each other.

Also, when would bulletdrop start to be noticeable? 15 blocks? 45? 65?At what point does it become incredibly difficult to hit the side of a barn? 75? 95?

I suppose it could be implemented in a way the majority of players will be happy [Lord knows it'll be impossible to make that entire gaggle of deuces happy no matter what gets thrown at them.], But I don't think it'll be happening in my lifetime.
