On every server i join, the loading map gets stuck at this, and eventually this pops up:
Any tips? Should I reinstall? Restart computer? Do something obscure?

Everybody look at my question!

On every server i join, the loading map gets stuck at this, and eventually this pops up:

I don't think it has anything to do with your Ace of Spades, specifically. A lot of people were having this happen to them, and they have no idea what's going on. Honestly, I wouldn't un-install it and re-download it. You might have a problem within your Java download or Adobe Flash Player, and might need to update one of those.

Most likely, you were banned from that serer. That happened to me when I got banned from a certain clan's server.
EDIT: Also, I'm pretty sure it's not flash player or java that's the problem.

I just re-installed both java and flash and same problem. I'll just wait a couple weeks and see if he puts out a patch.

And i haven't been banned from a single server in my life, especially when I've only played on one server

The best thing you could do is to uninstall and re-install AoS. Restarting is one of your best bets, too.

could be an 'extended' form of the server connect error.
that means rather than give you an error up front it go to the loading screen and then give you an error.
since i got 0.75 I kept being randomly dropped from servers and I have trouble connecting again so I click the link like 50 times (which can cause 50 windows of client.exe to pop up) and usually there's at least 45 immediate errors to connect, 4 that go to the loading window and failed to connect, an one that made it in all the way. Then I get dropped after 2 minutes and it starts all over again...
I mostly play on aloha, and I've never been banned from them.
