Control edits not saving or working

I'm left handed with the mouse and I can't use the "wasd" control setup so in games I always have to remap the controls, but in Ace of Spades even after I remapped the controls and reinstalled the game multiple times they still won't work once I get ingame.

I assume you're trying to used WASD for the block palette and the arrow keys for movement?
