I can't get this game to work

I really need some help.

Whenever I go to ace-spades.com/play and try to connect to a server, nothing happens. I left click on the red link and nothing happens, not even an error.

I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling and repairing. I have check client.exe in the Ace of Spades folder. I'm pretty sure it works because it gives me an error saying I need to connect to a server.

Is it something in my browser? Does my browser not allow the link to go through? I'm using google chrome. I really have no idea what's wrong. Everything seems to be in order.

Please help.

What operating system do you use? I think the game only runs on Windows. If you're using something else, you can still play the game by using wine, a program that allows you to use windows applications on other OSs.

I'm running windows 7 through bootcamp on macintosh, I have gotten this game to work previously on the same computer using the same set up.


edit: it seems to be working on firefox, which I just downloaded. Bothers me a little that it wont work on chrome but w/e. Thanks anyways.

Huh, that's a bit weird. I have Chrome, and it works fine for me.

Anywhoo, have fun with the game, and expect to get votekicked if you get more than 2 headshots in a row on the killfeed.

Try to use a third party launcher such as Spadille.

Firefox actually wasn't working, it just gave me server connection error over and over (still better than chrome). I was really frustrated so I didn't bother to post back.

I just tried Spadille and the game works perfectly :) thanks!
