I'll support this.. it's a good way to tell who the trolls are and who the contributing members are..

inb4 we actually install that, and I manually set Reub's reputation to -900 just for being a RoT-guy.

I'm not too sure about Karma systems. They always get abused on forums, like "Karma for Karma games" or "Give +Karma to the person above you."

Which is pretty much why I suggested the thanks button instead, because you could view the number of thanks they have by their name and you can search the thanked posts quite easily.

I hate rep with the fire of a thousand suns. Yes, so much that I quote Shakespeare.

Rep is for attention whores, I have never seen it really used legitimately. The system will doubtlessly be abused and used for personal vendettas and abused in disagreements.

It is not useful on any level. It is even more useless than post count in determining how useful a user is.

Thats what mods are for, to deal with all the annoying things that the real admins don't have time for. Hopefully there is a hidden admin section on this forum where mods can report people like this.

^All my ideas are pipe dreams. In the 20 years I've been gaming I've never been to a forum where any of my ideas are used untill a few years later. I've accepted that.
